I know about golems, dybuks and cadyks. My city had a cadyk (it's like a mystical Jewish wizard) famous in all of Poland and beyond, who supposedly got into an argument with Jahwe himself, so Jahwe granted him the gift of levitation and took that gift away when the cadyk was floating outside the window. He never argued with Jahwe again (because he got splattered on the pavement). So says the local legend.
