I'm curious, in general, how much starter wealth would you need to start life somewhere in a small town in Vermont or New Hampshire? Is like 200k enough, is 0 enough?! Can you easily find any job, something like in a warehouse, construction etc.? I'm 36, white and I lived here in Europe all my life, I would try something new. Thats the one thing I got used to living out of state was how much snow and winter storms we get. A lot of the houses in Vermont are over 100 years old and have awful heat insulation so everyone spends a shitload of money on heating.
