I heard a leftist say chud irl once but it was just a guy on a rant about some random bs, it wasn't like he was calling anyone in particular a chud. I thought it was fucking hilarious and had try to so hard not to laugh.

What's surreal for me is how people say "based" irl so frequently now, and I've been typing it since 2011 on /v/. It's like one of those "6 month old meme goes mainstream" bits but on a way longer time frame- a ten-year delay. Closest comparison is me being fed up listening to Gangnam Style from Starcraft 2 broadcasts and then it finally reaching the rest of America.
