The biggest game changer currently aren't just the FPV drones used to kill but observation drones ranging from regular DJI Mavics to bigger heftier ones that fly at a higher altitude. The entire battlefield is under 24/7 observation allowing instant reaction by either side, accurate artillery strikes, coordination of other drones. Guys at the front are afraid to rotate because both sides specifically run thermal optic drones at night and watch for regular rotations. They all say it's not a question of if you will get struck but when and will your luck run out.

Raspberry PI has lost the mandate of god: its too fucking expensive for its initial purpose and also its initial purpose is done better with other boards. It was always a combination of an Arduino + a cheap mini PC, but now its price is just too high and also the hype is gone. All the projects you see on Arduino are actually doable in a proxmox container on a cheap mini pc. Raspberry pis also always had the whole issue with "added costs" like needing to buy a charger + a sd card very 1-2 years. I know I know, the SD card lifespan depends on use and many criteria but I would much rather not have to worry about it and just rely on a mini PC.
