Actually one hour of my pay could feed a whole family here too (cheaply and with a bit of cooking, or even without if you don't care about health, you can get some 24 inch frozen pizzas under five dollars here)
But again the bills eat it up when you're part time even if you live monk mode
There are other things I forgot to mention like $80/month for mandatory car insurance, yearly car registration fee etc
If I could bring my part time shelf stocking job to where you live and make the same money I'd be all set, but saving here is an uphill battle unless I can find a different job or somehow fix my feet
Even if I somehow got ten grand together and moved there I'd just run out of money and have a bad job there part time and still be a loser
Also it's hard to get any work online because even if I could make it working at a competitive rate with people from countries like yours despite the expenses here, minimum wage laws prevent it for lots of jobs.
Basically, I suffer in USA despite making hugely more than you on paper
