My birthday was weeks ago, but I'm a friendless schizoid NEET so it's just like any other day for me. Now that I'm older, I'd prefer not to mark the passage of time in any case. In my increasingly congested heart, I will always be 16.

Bad for local stores because they can't compete, good for consumers because they can buy affordable products.
In the long run it will lead to the destructions of small business but I doubt I will be alive by then.

Lidl and Aldi are both nice imho. Better products and lower prices than other chain stores.
I prefer local sellers to big stores though, but sometimes their prices are too high which is when I'd rather buy from lidl or aldi.

Not really, it's just a joke.
Like if someone tell you "I have a problem" and you answer "only one? you are so lucky".
The joke is that generally people have many problems/assholes in their lives, but when you talk about a particular issue you generally use the word "a", which would imply that you only have one, which isn't really the case.

I mean yeah I am but you've got the wrong idea, grand strategy fans only know about WW2 and maybe some stuff about classical history or the medieval/early modern period
if you think about it not many 4x/grand strategy/rts games are set during the bronze age

Ancient History is more the domain of city builders, stuff like Impressions Games' Pharaoh and Children of the Nile

Have you played Tyranny? Also known as "Tranny" when it came out but now it's not woke or whatever because it's an older game.
Anyway, it's an RPG set in a fantasy bronze age, you probably have played it but just in case I like the game and felt like talking about it, it's fun.

Good morning /med/, shit weather but good mood! Cagie is going well and yesterday's gym session was powerful despite being packed at some point, you know that's the drill every January.

I also want to retake a very autistic habit I had: there was a time during high school years in which I wrote in a notebook how was my walk to school, noting down which known people I encountered and how smooth it was depending on the people I came across. I want to do the same again but with my daily walking commute.

Intern got absolutely drilled without any fault from her part and I had to put myself on the line for her. Another manager, my ancient chief from three years ago also had to chime in and defend us. Meanwhile the new team’s production chief spent the whole debacle being an yes man and absolutely licking the manager from top to bottom.
Then after everything she tried to act all motherly with us, good cop style. What a load of horseshit.

You just wrote the most retarded shit I have ever read I think.
How are Portuguese going to export this supposedly high quality food to Mercosur which is way poorer than the EU?
Also, when importing food the EU also demand food regulations, it's not a perfect system for sure but the idea we are going to chug down the same exact food the eat in Latin America is simply stupid, the exact reason why the EU didn't make a free trade deal with the US is because the US wanted us to eat clorinated chicken, if the EU said no to American clorinated chicken why would it say yes to low quality food from Latin America?
Btw international trade has shown to boost the economic output of all countries participating in it and it's the reason why Western societies boast such high rates of consumption, you can value that consumption positively or negatively but the consumption is higher, so for countries that want to stay strong and relevant, having a high economic output is important so increasing international trade is a way to do that.

>>218639664
Problem is that there are many times when you can't know or it's hard to know wether a product is 100% local, if you exclusively buy fresh stuff like veggies and raw meat you can probably know but the moment you buy anything prepared you probably won't be able to know the location of every component.
>>
>>218638119
>Like you just can't make this shit up.
This is also very retarded from you to say, there is basically no government that acts openly racist, even Trump that removed anti-racism legislation has to hide its racism under dogwhistles, racism is seen globally in negative light so why would this somehow be so surprising that "you just can't make this shit up".
The EU is acting just like you would expect a Western mainstream organization would act.

>>218639326
>they're all leftoid white females so I'm not surprised
They aren't left wing, they are mainly conservatives, the EU is ruled by the EPP, a right wing, Christian democrat party.
Your definition of "leftoid" is not reflective of what most people think as left wing, the reason for this is probably because you spend too much time in online right wing echo chambers like /pol/.
>>
>>218640091
>if the EU said no to American clorinated chicken why would it say yes to low quality food from Latin America?

Several things will happen.
1. European farmers outcompeted and obliterated, not because of quality issues, but because of the low South American wages.
2. More exports towards South America in regards to manufactured goods which are supposed to offset the primary sector killing.
The first one has a strong possibility of happening, the second one not so much. And, in the long term, this will make us utterly dependent on our sudaca brothers for food, which would be a good thing if a global government (headed by our emperor currently residing in Anatolia o algo), but I really don’t see that happening either.
>>
>>218640315
That's plain wrong, the US-EU trade deal was discussed from 2010 to 2014 and those years were pretty bad right after the 2008 crisis.

>>218640375
>1. European farmers outcompeted and obliterated, not because of quality issues, but because of the low South American wages.
European farmers already can't compete with third world wages which is why the EU gives subsidies for food production.
For quite a few food items labour isn't the biggest expense, the biggest example being grains.
>2. More exports towards South America in regards to manufactured goods which are supposed to offset the primary sector killing.
The primary sector won't die but if the percentage of primary sector lowered a bit in exchange of increased of secondary and tertiary sector economy that wouldn't necessarily be bad, this would probably increase the EU competitive advantage in manufacturing which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
It can be bad for the people working in the primary sector that have to look for a new job and I understand why those people would complain, but it's largely inconsecuential for everyone else.

How are the people you personally know ever relevant to this conversation? Do you think the world revolves around you? What I'm trying to make you understand is that the European Comission is led by EU politicians who are chosen by the European Pairlament, who is majorily controlled by right win parties, these initiatives are approved by those politicans, therefore approved by right wing people, the message of "Europe free from racism" isn't considered a left wing craze or belief by people in the real world, people in mainstream politics all are at least nominally against racism.
So the people you know is irrelevant and you could only think it is relevant because you think every single one of the people in the EU commission are the people you know somehow, and nobody else.

People are free to chose these lower quality products or the higher quality European products? Are you some commie against the free market or something? Btw the big majority of those products are already available and this will only make those products sightly cheaper.
>Either way, killing off our own farms for green politics because some disgusting germans don't want nuclear and instead importing food from latam was definitely a 10/10 move.
Except farms aren't being killed off since farmers get subsidies and this trade deal has nothing to do with nuclear since Mercosur isn't exporting a big amount of fossil fuels anyway.
>Well the EU could just have you know, not also killed off eu car manufacturers so we would have better trades n shiet.
The EU didn't kill car manufacturing, car companies chose to share technology with China to produce and sell cars in China, making China be able to compete with the EU faster, and chose not to invest in electric cars as much as China and the US while they had the money and engineers to do so, the end result is that now the car industry is getting worse results than before because they lost the Chinese market and some sector of the European market, but losing the Chinese market was unavoidable and as they pick up the slack with electric cars EU cars will beat Tesla and BYD in the EU anyway.
If anything, the outside strenght of Germany in EU politics made the EU protect the car industry more than others, if the EU didn't backpedal on the banning of ICE cars for example cars manufactorers would have had no other option but to innovate and be competitive but instead after knowing full well that they had to make electric models they put no effort into it because they knew the EU would backpedal.

Someone from the family died and I went to the wake and most of the family was Hasidic Jews, I was shocked in the dream and didn't know what to do so I just stood there not saying anything. Then I went to make Challah bread for everyone with an old Jewish woman and we started arguing about how to make it. There was also weird food on the table that I didn't recognize.

>Lowering CO2 emissions is the most important thing to do and we are not doing it enough
Well I'm sure bringing food over from latam on tankers instead of growing them here will lower co2 emissions.
>See when your response to actual arguments are "sure" then there's no way to talk.
Sure.

It was so weird lol, I think it's because I watched a bunch of Youtube videos about how the Hasids live right before I went to sleep.

Nintendo has maintained a strong relationship with South Korea for a very long time—sometimes going back 50 or 60 years. Nintendo's consoles have almost always been released simultaneously in South Korea and Japan, followed by the US and then the EU much later. Nintendo, Sony, Namco, Capcom, SNK, and others have always considered South Korea a key Asian market, and they still do. However, Sega's relationship with South Korea is quite strained due to a past incident. I heard that something bad happened when Sega's South Korean branch closed down. It appears there were financial issues when the business was liquidated. As you can see, unlike other major Japanese game developers, Sega rarely creates Korean characters in their games.

That was a good guess honestly. Sadly the minds of neurotypicals are changing and prone to emotional outbursts.

in Britain you have goth girls who really love cats, in fact this is what the average English woman looks like:
https://files.catbox.moe/u1s2e4.mp4
so you see the reason catnigga hates busty goth girls is because they remind him of the women he's surrounded by 24/7

Playing Mass Effect. Gonna flirt with both Ashley and Liara, choose Liara, leave Ashley to die, fuck Liara and then cheat on Liara with Miranda in the 2nd game.

I like Santenello, especially his vids in lesser known places of the US. The videos in the South are extra cozy

You shouldn't feel too bad, she says that because she loves you and is worried about you. But she shouldn't be worried and you shouldn't either. You could make a girl very happy, regardless of any mental issues. You're a smart, handsome, fit and funny guy, keep your head up and open up whenever you can.

She's just worried about you, it would be bad if she didn't say those things. I don't know you but I don't get the sense that you are mentally fucked up. Just go out there and meet some girl bro, youre a big guy...when I was doing 1/4 of what you are doing in the gym I felt so confident (you would probably mog me lol).

Yeah nothing like the fent zombies in Philadelphia and Skid Row.

as I kid I used to live in a sketchy part off the city and those were the last years of our heroin epidemic but even then there would be a few junkies you would know to stay away from.

I remember we saw a guy getting out from his apartment bleeding from his stomach because he stabbed himself with a knife from the withdrawals, his nickname was Big Tits (skinniest guy to ever exist). Then speed came into the picture and now only gypsies do heroin in their slums outside of the city.
