Poles are very emotional and split about UkraineOn one hand we hate Russia and we feel for Ukrainians defending their land since less than a century ago Poland was also invaded and lost, especially at the beginning of war Polish support was huge.Then there's difficult history between our nation that Ukraine is not willing to account for, most notably https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacres_of_Poles_in_Volhynia_and_Eastern_Galicia so there is 'some' anti-Ukrainian sentiment related to that.Then there's people who are just tired with amount of Ukrainians that arrived into Poland before and during war, they're tired of not being able to talk to a cashier in Polish or seeing ads in Ukrainian, also many Poles consider Ukrainians 'not grateful' for our support especially given how Zelensky said about us that we're "in one team with Putin" on a UN meeting and how they were trying to fuck us over with their wheat. Personally I'd differentiate here between Ukrainian people (which are mostly all right) and the Ukrainian state (which is a fucking rat, but hey, that's politics).
