have you been watching any TV/movies in your country?what kind of media do you consoom iyc?
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE HIVEMIND WON'T LET ME BE A HECKIN' LESBERINO NOOOODafq is carol's problem? the hivemind literally ended homophobia.
>>218752566imagine how fucked up it would be to have the entirety of /int/‘s consciousness in your brain
>>218752537I only watch trailer park boys. When ever I finish watching I go back to the first episode
>>218752537i watched 217 movies last year, which is a typical year for me
>>218752537I only watch youtube
>>218752537I have been watching american tv shows since Fargo was released. Some of them are ok.
>>218752537>Yes, please get the plane prepped. I would to visit this… Little Saint James I’ve heard about…
i mostly watch whatever anons throw on cytube. sturgeon's law is the truth, 90% of media is disposable slop, and maybe 10% of it is actually worth remembering or will only survive more than one generation
>>218752537Yuribus is mid, but still better than the early seasons of Better Call Saul. I feel like modern shows often excessively prioritize the le character moments over the actual narrative. As a result you get shows like this where nothing happens. Breaking Bad was a plot show, which is why pretentious people hate it.
I marathoned this last week and what a mistake. Just pure and direct gay propaganda. I liked the documentary The Institute so I gave it a try. If I only knew. Horrible shit.
>>218752924would the hivemind indulge in extremely degenerate roleplay?
>>218752537Yes. Ha ha you fools. Such a wholesome show. Love it just like Long story short
I've been watching The Pitt and rewatching ER as an adult.
>>218752537Such a nothingburger show. Interesting setting but it would be better as a movie or a short series.
>>218753191how is The Pitt? every normie tells me to watch it but my not-so-normie gf says she thinks i wouldnt like it. would you recommend?
>>218753675The first season was excellent. They're only on the 3rd episode of the 2nd season so you might want to wait until its completed before subscribing.
>>218752537Pluribussy
I started binging on movies ever since I discovered free streaming sites
>>218752537Pluribus is shitiest show I watched in a decadeI'm no moved to Fallout and Night Manager, at least something is actually happening there
>>218752537Enjoyed the first few episodes where things happen but then in vince gilligan's typical arrogant manner in devolves into long drawn out menile scenes of nothing happening
>>218754084>I'm no moved to FalloutOnly the last two episodes had something happen, the first 4 were just going to locations and going "wow there's nobody else here" or focusing on the black guy that nobody likes.
>>218752566The hivemind, famously, did let Carol be a heckin' lesberino
>>218754164>woman is mind controlled and her body is used like a puppet to engage in gay sex against her willIsn't Vince meant to be a lefty?
>>218754160it's still miles more interesting than Pluridrivel
>>218754209Agreed.
>>218752537Pluribus is a masterpiece of a show for someone who doesn't need constant overstimulation like me. The Gap is one of my favorite episodes ever in TV. I love Vince's deliberate slow pacing and how these long, lonely sections make the characters feel so realistic.
>>218754370There's a difference between slow pacing and just dragging something out with filler. The only character actually worth watching is that Latino dude anyway, all Carol does is drink wine and complain.
>>218754370same. idk why all the anons itt are hating on it. i’m enjoying it
>>218754502It's because we get stuck with a boring lead like Carol.
>>218754530That's what Manousos is for
>>218754370
>>218752537i caught up with fallout last night, been meaning to start adolescence
How did they make a thirdie schizo chud character so effortlessly cool? Latinos should be thanking Vince right now for this type of representation
>>218754201Vince is one of the wokest motherfuckers on the planet, and I don't think making every single person on the planet want to have gay sex with Carol contests that.
>>218754582I think it's because Latino chuds are chuds because that's just what they are, while the US chuds are like that for attention and to look cool. It's effortless because it's natural to them.
>>218754370the manousos parts were by far my favorite i kinda wanna visit those places
>>218754544geeglove 'ousos
>>218754677South America sounds scary as shit if anons from there are to be believed. Constant motorcycle robberies and that kinda thing, but maybe you'd be alright if you get way out in the middle of nowhere immediately after arriving.
>>218752537I watched this yesterday. I liked it a lot, Chalamet really stands out on this role. The Safdies love their piece of shit characters so much it's unreal.
>>218754723i dont think they just rob random people on the main highway in paraguay,chile,peru... but i could be wrong. if i had to guess its like here you get wierd shit happening when you're in rural places or down some sketchy street in the city (never seen anything as bad as robbery in israel but one time i parked in a sketchy place and saw signs of attempting to get into my car when i got back)
>>218754544>>218754582>>218754704He's literally me
>>218754826It seems to be pretty much anywhere, the motorcycle is what makes it easy to escape in all situations. What's funny is a lot of the community fights back against it, so there are plenty of good people, but it is a really prevalent problem.
>>218754774it was unironically the best Jew propaganda film since The Pianist, except this one made jews seem cool
>>218752599dubs of good taste
>>218754502If feels like it wastes your time in many ways. Lots of scenes that are drawn out too long because the crew cared more about pretty shots than telling the story. Also lots of story elements kinda go nowhere. The whole "they eat humans" part was 80% of an episode and then a huge cliffhanger at the end, and then 5 minutes into the next one it completely takes the wind out of its sails, and it being brushed off like it's nothing makes you feel stupid in hindsight for caring about it.
>>218755021>The whole "they eat humans" part was 80% of an episode and then a huge cliffhanger at the end, and then 5 minutes into the next one it completely takes the wind out of its sails, and it being brushed off like it's nothing makes you feel stupid in hindsight for caring about it.That's what Vince does in most of his projects. I think people are just more critical this time around since it's so blatantly obvious and there isn't enough plot or character development to overshadow it.
loving this. it’s like getting an inside look into Kamala Harris’ life
>>218754967Uncut Gems is the most antisemitic film I've ever seen, doebeit.
>>218753961>before subscribing.
I’m watching Stargate SG-1
>>218752537I legitimately don't watch anything that has actual people acting
>>218755237How is it? I’ve managed to avoid it for years now but it’s always been on my list
>>218755289It’s good
>>218752537Currently watching S1 of pic rel and the dialogue is so quirky and trying to be badass that it feels like a real-life anime. Comfy.
>>218752537terrible, should have been a 90 minute movie
bump
>>218753191>>218753675Same here for watching The Pitt. ER sucks for medical accuracy. It's as bad as House for accuracy but the characters/plot were also way less interesting. Pitt improved the plot beats of an ER story and also brought way better charactersIf you're a hardcore chuddie retard then you won't like it, but if you're a benevolent autist interested in real life medicine and dynamics in a teaching center then it's top notch>t. In Healthcare>>218753961>subscribingNigga are you stupid
I started off thinking she was a cunt but shes just flawed and it makes her relatable if anything.
>>218757831real. she’s just a femchud who wants her kween back
>>218752537Half of the episodes liken to Breaking Bad's "Fly" which is kino in isolation but notsomuch when you have a supposedly plot-driven show and keep delving into the minutia of character motivations instead of driving the plot forward. It also relies on cheap cliffhangers to keep you interested after showing you an episode full of nothing.Peak BrBa made 13 episodes a year and it was dense storytelling with strong sense of momentum and little filler. Plebirus is all stalling and shaping up to put out meager 9 episodes every two years, modern TV sucks.
>>218757925>Early Breaking Bad>Dense storytellingIn what universe?
>>218757940Just the constant feel of tension and things moving forward from S3 on. Hank catching up to Walt, Gus planning to get rid of him, family falling apart, Mexicans and DEA being onto Gus. From every angle the story is moving toward a sensible conclusion so it has momentum that goes unbroken until the finale. The only tension in Pluribus comes from macguffin frozen egg cells and the atom bomb cliffhanger. The bomb is the same as Walt's M60 but lacks excitement since it's just repetition of what's been done before. My prediction is that they either blow it up unglamorously in S2 (Carol survives) or keep it around as an artificial tension device until the end of the show when Carol sacrifices herself to save humanity. Till then it's just lesbians moping and drinking booze.
>>218754774saw this the other day too. was quite good
>>218757940I think he just means Breaking Bad was more of a thriller/plot driven. Even early on there's a lot of tense moments like when they're in the RV, dealing with Tuco, the whole dilemma over killing Krazy 8 etc. Granted you still had boring filler shit like Marie's kleptomania and what not but overall it kept an okay pace.Pluribus by comparison really has no tension whatsoever past the first or 2nd episode. Carol never seems to be in any danger whatsoever, and as soon as she finds anything potentially alarming about the Hivemind it turns out all the other survivors already know, and they have a nice video explaining it to her. In fact she hasn't actually made much progression on anything at all aside from finding out they can't lie I guess.
>>218752537I just finished watching True Detective season 1.It was an absolute masterpiece. So fucking good.
Rewatching Mad Men again because I'm depressed
>>218755237What's Major Briggs doing on this show?
>>218752537I've been watching Frasier for the first time through (already halfway through the last season) and every now and then I rewatch a random Seinfeld rerunafter I finish Frasier I'm gonna watch "Only Fools and Horses" recommended by a coworker, if I don't like it or if I finish it then I'll rewatch George Lopez next
>>218755237 What's Meyer Briggs doing on this show?
>>218752537God I would have such a little girl harem you wouldn't believe if I was a survivor in pluribussy.
>>218760638>t.jeet
>>218752537I liked it
>>218758805I liked the episode where Don and Layne went out and had a night on the town. Very wholesome.
