Thinking about building a sangoku amplifier (pic related). It has nutubes, which are a kind of vacuum tubes but derived from those old fluorescent displays used in 80’s and 90’s tech. They glow greenish blue which is sex.I will probably completely redo the power supply part, as all the research I did tells me it’s absolute dogshit and introduces noise into the nutubes, and therefore the output of the amplifier.It’s a fully balanced output, so I can use it with both headphones and low power speakers which is a plus.I’m also thinking of ways to build a case for it, I’ll probably beg people at the factory to machine it.Just look at those sweet things glowing!
