What's causing this?
>>218765661What a pity but don't worry, we'll take over.
>>218765661Too much stress from being forced to studycuck since 7 years old o algoAnd then when you reach 12 years old you take the national exam (PSLE) and that literally dictates the rest of your life afterwards. If you do badly you're cursed with shitty minwage jobs for the rest of your life + people will always think you're retarded. If you do well you become a highly paid servant to some white expat boss in an MNC.Imagine putting that much pressure on kids when they're fucking 12. Literally how you perform at that age decides your fate. Not even the Koreans with their endless nightclasses and China with their Gaokao system is that cruel to their children. And if you do well (me btw) you get rewarded with being an overpaid chinkgoycattle to some CEO/COO anglojew who sits around scrolling tinder fucking your women while you do all his work.Humiliation ritual country. Getting cancer at 25 is a mercy.
>>218765836Oh and also CECAjeets like >>218765706 take those highly paid jobs anyways because they're infinitely more spineless and servile to the white expats here than we are, so who cares if you do well in school when you're young. An indian with a fake degree and a nepotistic friend in HR will be hired/promoted over you anyways.Shit country. We will not make it to 2100 if we dont do something about it.

>>218765836So. Is there a third option? Like if you were born good looking (Chad) you could probably slackoff on life and take things at a slow pace.
Future generations will laugh at us for poisoning ourselves.
>>218765836I have heard schools in Singapore are absurdly difficult
>>218769188Yeah, you pretty much cuck yourselves by thinking an imaginary green line and having whatever electronicslop at your disposal it's better than chilling with your family or gf.
>>218769150nta but third option is to just be born to a rich family. then your parents send you overseas and you stay there for good. the luckiest singaporeans are the ones who manage to escape our shitty system by getting american/british/european/japanese (if you're a weeb) citizenship etc. that anon doesnt even cover half the BS most of us locals have to go thru here, but he got the main gists right.why else do you think we're still so unhappy despite having such a "high living standard" and are always at the top of many global lists?>>218769208it's not difficult, just stressful. alot of pressure is placed from a very early age. and the worst part is that our grades are on a bell curve. which means that even if you objectively scored well on a test (75/100), if everyone scored better (90+/100) you still get an F.this breeds an insanely hypercompetitive mindset in singaporeans from an early age. we're constantly trying to outdo each other, and we are more likely to see each other as rivals/enemies more than we see foreigners as such. which is the main source of why foreigners like indian nationals and PRCs so easily take over our employment markets. they stick together and are very tribally protective for their countrymen, while we're too busy fighting each other to the death because we've been conditioned to do so since young.
>>218769542Do graduates leave Singapore for places like Japan, Korea etc or stick around?
>>218769542Sounds like an absolute nightmare mode. >Migrating to Europe as a rich kidThey're probably getting mogged by the locals and lowkey feeling miserable about it. >Migrating to Japan as rich kidProbably their best option. Racially similar to not be preyed on and looksmatched to them.
>>218769611if they can they will. in fact one of the biggest pipelines to escape this hellhole is to do a foreign exchange when you're in uni, try to find an internship in the country you're doing an exchange in, then grind your hardest and suck up to bosses there until they give you a work visa to work with them after you graduate. or... do very very well in university, help a recognised prof in his research, and hope you can qualify to do a foreign PhD. my brother somehow managed to grind his way into ASML from his netherlands exchange, and one of my cousins is doing his PhD in Yale right now.the only issue is that only our top 2 universities have such foreign exchange programmes/PhD programmes, if you're not "smart" enough to get into NUS/NTU then tough fucking luck. they both only admit 10000 students a year (and half of those are foreigners btw, because they're both also such top tier universities). and even then, all the exchange programmes here require you to have a 4.0 GPA to be qualified, so keep grinding and competing you sinkiecuck!
>solely blaming CECAjeets as if we're not being rawdogged by Mainland niggers as well who uses Singapore as their laundromat while demanding everyone else to acquiesce to them.Showing your true colors right there lad.

>>218765661Afaik its shit diet schedule and sleep schedule. Common among zoomers worldwide (except Africa and some o5her poorfags) but Singapore as hyper urbanized must be hit the hardest
>>218769542>and the worst part is that our grades are on a bell curve. which means that even if you objectively scored well on a test (75/100), if everyone scored better (90+/100) you still get an F.this is the case in the UK 6th form too, it's awful
>>218771211Arguably it's because of your 6th form system that we have the bell curve. We all take the same GSCE 'A' levels because we're all under the British Commonwealth system. Our Education Ministry just decided that it's better to prep our kids for a bell-curved grading system from a young age so that they get used to it earlier, which made us very academically competitive and is why we always top IQ charts in PISA rankings etc, but at the same time introduces all the unnecessary stress on our students.IMHO I think it's an outdated system. Companies dont hire the best and brightest. Nowadays they only the hire the cheapest ones (that are still intellectually competent to a certain extent) who are willing to suck their bosses' cocks, which is why companies all over the world are so addicted to hiring Indians.
Jobs for FTs, ns for sinkies!

>>218765661Last year, I watched two long street interviews with Singaporean women talking about Singaporean men and Singaporean dating culture, and I wanted to slap every single one of them. I thought Hong Kong women were the worst snobs in Asia, but it was actually Singaporeans. They had 4/10 faces and bodies, but they were acting like 10/10 supermodels, belittling their own men and praising white men.
>>218772173it's really just our shitty education systemour women have seen us as academic competitors since young, not potential loversthen they see white men as their saviours, because a greencard to america/europe will save them from this hellhole.like >>218765836 said, humiliation ritual country. singaporean men are the lowest lifeforms imc. i haven't even talked about NS.
>>218772248Our women are insane feminazis as well. I'm sick and tired of the snobbery of women in most high-income Asian countries. There is something seriously wrong with our education.
>>218772430honestly? it's all confucius' fault. every country that worships that ancient fucking chink and his stupid teachings becomes the same fucking way. china/korea/japan/taiwan/singapore etc.confucius ruined us.the CCP was right in burning his books.
>>218772509The moment we begin to believe that financial abundance is the measure of happiness, unhappiness begins. Unfortunately, South Korea, Singapore, and nearly all other East Asian countries live under this illusion. This is a bad habit instilled in us by our parents, the boomers. East Asians are unable to live independently, guided by their own standards. Instead, they live according to the standards imposed by their parents and siblings. A life imposed by others cannot lead to happiness.
>>218772509>>218772716Thank Confucius you didn't end up as a shithole like in Southeast Asia.
>>218765836You know I used to always want to move to Singapore coz grass is greener on the other side and I will have a better career/future there. I mean my friends did it so it can't be that bad.But it seems these days it's just too damn tough. I heard even in SG as a white collar guy, if you don't make it to a high enough position at 40, you're fucked and you will have to drive taxis or deliver food. Then there's all these extra ethnic tensions.East Asia is nice provided you're not the goyim. Otherwise it's hell.
>>218765836lmao thinking its harder to studycel in singapore than korea / china, we have multiple chances /routes to get into uni

>>218775616Grim. Hopefully the jeetocaust will start in Singapore.
>>218775309depends. local jeets whose families have been here for generations and have assimilated into our culture are fine.the snobby smelly ones from india? they need to get the fuck out. chinese nationals too. both are plagues on our society.
>>218769542>>218772509>>218772716You East Asians are worse than Mexicans.
Why don't ricecels fix their birthrates by giving more points on school entrance exams to children with more siblings? Obviously Asian women will not have children out of love or to save their race from extinction but if you offer a few extra points on a test they definitely would right?
