I'm just incredibly scared to see the first episode because the book series just randomly stopped and never resumed, GOT went to shit halfway through and house of the dragon had a great first season before going to shit. I don't want to emotionally invest anymore.

they changed key scenes and made the Baratheon lord gay for Dunk.
they show male ass and dick front and center on the screen but a very brief tiddy scene from far away that is easily missed.
that out of the way, each story (season in the show) is unrelated to the others.
but everyone who reads Dunk&Egg gets the itch for more.
