It's grim on so many levels, I think of what monthly income you would need to earn online to live like an AVERAGE guy in Germany and it's insane, you need to earn around $7000 a month BEFORE tax as a freelancer just to hit $3000 after tax, the Kr*uts are taxing freelancers unironically harder than they tax workers inside of the country. I don't know how mentally degraded you need to be to agree to pay this much tax as a freelancer in a country with quickly aging workforce and leeching retirees, your taxes are NEVER coming back
