every summer I work remotely from Europe, in which city which you reommend I stay this year? I really liked Barcelona, Bologna, and Vienna for reference.
Barcelona is a decaying big town. Madrid is better, it has more of a vibrant cosmopolitan big city feel, a better economy, better nightlife and food and no crazy independentists. And a right wing government, which is what makes it a better place in general.

If I really like a citty I'll opt to stay there the full 3 month duration like Barcelona. I was thinking of maybe doing 6 weeks in Budapest this time around then going to Italy for another 6 weeks, something like that.
