I had to take 3 years of French in HS and i hated it because it's a retarded language stuffed with dumb bullshit like 99 being "four-twenties-ten-nine", there not being a simple verb for many common English words like "pace", random use of articles and contractions, past perfect and subjunctive tenses that don't male sense, etc. Wish I'd picked German instead but then again that language's future looks pretty grim with all the Zoorians and Turkroaches they have.
