If I were devout, I'd just go to a traditional church, cause that'd give you the semblance of practicing a tradition that dates back generations. It was probably just a factor of most religions having been founded long before modern technology rised, but when you think of religion or something holy, you think of something ancient that dates back to thousands of years that decorates some modicum of modesty (even though most cathedrals are pompous displays by themselves when you think about it), not contemporary consumerist slop riddled with flashy theatrics. Mega church attendants have got to be some of the lowest IQ bottom of the barrel crowds amassed in general. I just don't see how anyone would be drawn to that shit.

At most most of them go back maybe 100 years since most were made in the 20th century. Unless you are Anglican, Lutheran, Catholic, Orthodox or some other apostolic church which goes back even further. Most denominations like baptists and pentecostalism and others are glorified 2 hour long ted talks. Plus they reject sacraments. There is no tradition. They are Christian illiterate. Meaning they have 0 understanding or knowledge of Christian history. The amount of times some dumbass asks an easy question about faith or church or why we do this that or the other has already been answered 1000 to 1500 years ago is astonishing. The churches don't teach anything.
