We left our high cost of living area, and moved to a naturally beautiful place where we were able to affound a house on 5 or so acres of land right by the ocean. I could not afford this quality of life in my home province, that's for sure, but I am happy here; lots of trees, my sailboat is moored right next to my house all summer, clearn and fresh ocean air. My colleagues from university make literal millions; they're considering retirement and they aren't even 35 yet. But as I said, they seem to mostly just buy computer parts, anime figurines, pokemon cards, and nothing changes from day, to month, to year, to decade.
