My greek neighbor just recently died in a car wreck in a similar way. News article said he was heading down double lane highway, ran full speed in to a tow truck that was parked in the left lane in process of winching a car out of the ditch. Mid day. Sunny. Dry roads. Good long range visibility on that section of road and no traffic. Just splat. He was probably looking at his phone and holding the steering wheel with one leg.
