Hi intHaving a normal breakfast. Pretty good bread, one with butter and green garlic and salt, another one with cream cheese and blue cheese. The blue cheese was surprisingly cheap - around 300 yen for 100 grams. And of course tea, assam with fresh thyme. Yesterday I got my moped license so soon my life will improve — I will be able to go buy groceries much more often.
>>218811082>normal breakfastI never see this kind of cheese in Japanese supermarket. Does Okinawa have their own international supermarket or am I just missing?
Dried persimmon for dessert
>>218811159By normal I mean normal for me, the breakfast I personally am more used to. I bought everything at local AEON
>>218811082Why did I think you were a Ukrainian anon just by the thumbail
>>218811167>AEONdidn't its cheese taste bad? I don't buy processed food in AEON because all of foods they sell are awful quality.
>>218811172He is a big fat phonyI started the breakfast genre long before him.
>>218811172They are all Russian anyway. Every single meals OP posted look Russian meal to me. I couldn't believe you can recreate Russian cuisine by ingredients in Japanese food market.
>>218811185Idk, I've found it to be the other way around. The blue cheese is from Germany, it's pretty good. I also bought their wine and it was nice. The butter and the cream cheese are also pretty good for what you can find in Okinawa. And the bread is from a bakery adjacent to AEON
>>218811201Yes, you can't properly recreate anything Russian here. So my food here is usually some Japanese-Russian fusion, I cook using Russian habits and Japanese ingredients. I often eat shiitake and piman
>>218811284Ketchup or mustard would be nice
Also today I'm going with two new kohai girls to eat okonomiyaki and horse meat
>>218811284canned coffee?

>>218811391じゃあウミヘビ料理ね

>>218811082Did you say itadakimas before eating that?
>>218814708maybe. but only time I find metal chopsticks uncomfortable is when eating noodles. from a hygiene standpoint, I think metal chopsticks are better to wooden ones. and no I don’t think so. Japanese people hate metal chopsticks.
