Someone contacted me on Facebook Marketplace and tried to lowball my price, so I proposed a small price cut and phone number to someone else who might want to sell another such heater at the same address. He agreed. I didn't know who the neighbor was, so I checked the cellar in the land register, but it was a holding LLC. The same LLC owned an apartment above mine. I went there but no one was home and I could tell they haven't finished the apartment yet because there was door threshold missing, meaning they still hadn't finished the floors. I checked the board of LLC online and it was just two people with the same last name, most likely a wife and husband. The same wife was registered on the board of some charity. I checked the charity site and it had an address listed on a on it. I checked that address in Google Maps and it was just a single-family house in an affluent district nearby. They had a phone number listed. I called the number and explained that I'm a neighbour selling my stock heaters and asked if he is interested in selling his because I've seen them stored in the cellar. He was surprised but said he is indeed interested and took the buyer's number from me. We agreed on a date of pickup. We met next week in our underground garage and I helped to load the heater to some shady wan driven. The neighbour was puzzled how I found him and thought the developer company gave me his number because he asked them about resale first, I told him that was not the case and would be, in fact, illegal. I told him all LLC data is public and finding people is my hobby. He looked werided out and I never spoke to him again.
