UK:
>island nation with a superiority complex towards the continent, exceptionalist mindset
>ancient monarchy
>for a neighbour a smaller nation currently divided in two, sharing a sour colonial history
>obsessed with tea
>fucked up teeth
>drives on the left
>history of naval empire
>history of beefing with the very continental peoples they ethnically derive from
>culture of elaborate politeness through flowery language

Germany:
>detail and quality-oriented
>loves to obey orders and inflexible rules
>obsessed with work discipline and protocol
>in WWII genocidal maniacs who tried to conquer the entire continent
>fucked up sexual fetishes likely due to repression in public life
>a weird sense of humour
>has a long history but was only made into a unified modern state in the late 1800s
>reputation for making some of the best cameras, watches and cars
>perceived as autistic by everyone

How did monarchies even become a popular political system? why would cavemen who were all equal or at least power was decentralized want to give an enormous amount of wealth and power to one guy, who is unremarkable. You know, its not like kings are superhuman with superior intelligence, genetics or strength, they are just normal guys who were given a lot of wealth and power for no reason.

Why did it take thousands of years for a group of people to rebel against an ineffective, unequal, poverty perpetuating political system where a minority of leeches get rewarded with insane amounts of wealth just for existing even if they do a terrible job.

>Monarchies first appeared around 3000–3100 BCE

I often see things in Japan, in regards to practicality, and think yes the Anglo would have done this but wouldn't have taken it this far

Why???
>>
>>218986966
it's the italy of asia as in it's a formerly industrially relevant country that has been relegated to being a tourism economy with a large retiree population and brown min wage slaves everywhere

>formerly industrially relevant country

>Toyota still the n.1 automotive company in the world and many more in top spots
>absolute monopoly in photoresist chemicals
>industry leader in professional cameras
>sizeable marketshare in screen panel, lense, and camera sensor supply (Japan Display, Nikkor, Sony)
>industry leader in non-luxury branded watches; expanding in luxury (Casio, Seiko, Grand Seiko)
>dominates the videogame console market (Sony PlayStation, Nintendo)
>undersea cables (NEC)
>only country to have sizeable mastery over lithography other than ASML (Nikon, Canon)
>Music and Film (Sony Music, Columbia)
just to name a few
