Then going to locals and saying how he's shocked he's whiter than them and that his great great distant relatives are one quarter Italian, and that he'll feels spirituality at home, as he proceeds to shart himself.

The term “cradle of civilization” is conventionally reserved for societies where the fundamental elements of complex state-level civilization—urbanism, writing, centralized administration, sustained agricultural surplus, and long-term independent innovation—first emerged and diffused. The Minoans (Bronze Age Crete, c. 3000–1450 BCE) were advanced in many ways, but they don’t fit that narrow definition for several clear reasons:

Clear criteria for a “cradle”

Independent origin of core institutions: a cradle is a place where writing, city-state urbanism, monumental political institutions, and state bureaucracy emerged essentially on their own and initiated a trajectory copied by later societies.
Early chronological primacy: cradles are among the earliest places where those institutions appear (e.g., Sumer, Egypt, the Indus, Yellow River China).
Transmission role: cradles typically seed those institutions to neighboring regions over centuries.
>>
>>219109112
Why are they saying kya instead of bc?
>>
Why the Minoans fail those criteria

Not the earliest innovators
By the time Minoan complexity peaks (Neopalatial period, c. 1700–1450 BCE), Mesopotamia, Egypt, and the Indus had established cities, writing systems, and state institutions for millennia. The Minoans are later in the long global sequence.
Ambiguous independent invention of writing
Linear A (the main Minoan script) remains undeciphered; its relation to other scripts is unclear. It may be an independent invention or a local adaptation influenced by Near Eastern writing, but it did not produce a deciphered, widely adopted administrative system that influenced neighboring literate cultures.
The Minoans used seals and records, but they did not leave a clear corpus of administrative texts comparable to Sumerian or Egyptian archives.
Scale and administrative evidence
Minoan palaces (Knossos, Phaistos, Malia) show centralized ritual, storage, and redistribution functions, but the political structure appears palace-centered and possibly less territorially expansive or bureaucratically intrusive than contemporaneous Near Eastern states.
Surviving Linear A records are small and primarily economic; there is less evidence for large-scale, long-lived bureaucratic institutions that shaped later state systems.
>>
>>219109118
indeed
>>
>>219109173
nice attempt at stealing my gimmick but i already did this post
>>
just paid an obese black woman to spit in my mouth
>>
Limited external transmission
Minoan culture strongly influenced the Aegean (early Mycenaeans absorbed Minoan art, religious motifs, and possibly administrative practices), but that influence was regional and later superseded by Mycenaean Greek civilization.
Unlike Sumerian or Egyptian innovations that diffused broadly across large areas and timespans, Minoan innovations did not seed multiple later cradle-level civilizations.
Archaeological and interpretive uncertainties
The decipherment gap for Linear A limits understanding of Minoan political economy and institutions—key data for labeling a civilization as a cradle.
Destruction and later Greek reoccupation complicate continuity arguments: Mycenaeans imposed different language and political models after c. 1450 BCE.

Why the Minoans still matter

High urban complexity, large palatial centers, sophisticated craft specialization, maritime trade networks across the eastern Mediterranean, advanced art and architecture, and complex ritual life make the Minoans a formative regional civilization.
They were a major conduit of ideas, goods, and styles within the Aegean and eastern Mediterranean and contributed materially to the rise of the later Mycenaean and ultimately Greek world.
Summary
The Minoans were a major, highly developed Bronze Age civilization, but they neither appear early enough nor provide clear independent inventions and wide transmission of the foundational institutions that scholars typically use to define a “cradle of civilization.” They occupy a pivotal regional role rather than the primary origin status that term implies.

Up until about 1600 Europe has largely been regarded as a backwater of little significance. Even Rome and Ancient Greece were ultimately insignificant in comparison to Persia, India, and China. Lad are you dense? Europe by the 1600s was 4 crusades into debt without anything to show for. It's the sole reason they had to venture out beyond their ideations of the known world, which at the time were dominated by a theocratic regime who taught you that there were dragons beyond the map and that the earth was flat and would banish you if you merely wanted to examine that.

Anyone here ever seen a UFO before?

I actually did back in 2011 in Merseyside. I remember one night going outside and seeing a huge silent craft with lights on each corner going overhead. I know it was one big craft not multiple because it literally blocked out the stars as it passed over heading out towards the sea. The next day there were some people saying they seen strange lights in the sky that same night but nobody else reported the huge craft that I seen. Strange as fuck and I still can't wrap my head around it. I was sober as a judge when I seen it before anyone asks.

Not even sure what your entire point is to be honest, Europe was on par with India and China by any metric by the 13th century and had thoroughly overtaken them by the 17th, is that even up for debate? theres a reason the portugese/genovese/spaniards could sail 7000 miles and conquer a state twenty times their size in land and population over and over and over again.

Something like Lincoln or Koln cathedral are clearly a superior piece of engineering compared to Angkor Wat too

Wealth PPP, Technology, Military, general effect on the world, essentially any measure you could think of, China may have been ahead in things like printing paper and firearms while Europe was ahead in sailing and warcraft.

Malacca, Horn of Africa, Goa, Aztecs, Incas, and that's just before 1600

Just about anyone who stood Infront of both would disagree
