Do you play the bass in your country? Why? Do you know how to play guitar too? Do you have any favorite songs?

I play the guitar
Pic related is the model I have
>>
>>219269829
I don't. I don't play any instruments because I'm too dumb and lack any talents to learn.

>Do you play the bass in your country?
I used to.
>Why?
Why not?
>Do you know how to play guitar too?
I've tried on a couple of occasions, but I never got very far.
>Do you have any favorite songs?
I used to love playing NIB by Black Sabbath. Electric Funeral too actually.

Yes to both instruments.
>Do you have any favorite songs?
Not really, it changes a lot.

>Do you play the bass in your country?
Yeah
>Why?
Interpol and the Tranquility Based Arctic Monkeys album played a big role in me getting one, honestly.
>Do you know how to play guitar too?
Yeah
>Do you have any favorite songs?
Probably a Zeppelin song maybe

I have a six string ""bass"" tuned to B standard
it's just a fat guitar to me basically

Woman?
>>
>>219273688
Oooh, it's the bass variation. Man, those strings are thin. Are you sure it's even a bass?
>>
>>219273829
it's a Bass VI, 30 inch neck. what's feminine about orange? either way the color is "Tahitian Coral".
>>219273905
they're baritone strings, they're supposed to be thin for higher tunings. it's doesn't really qualify as a bass anymore, it's in "baritone" guitar territory now. it's only 5 steps down from standard (E) tuning.

You said that you have tuned to B standard, do you use to play that death metal stuff? It's such on odd instrument, I don't even know the point of its existence.
>the color is "Tahitian Coral"
Even being red green colorblind I can confidently say that it's orange
>>
>>219269829
I'd love to play it, but I have literally 0 ideas what to play on it.

I've had a few bass guitars but the only one that I've stuck with is the first one, a sunburst Harley Benton. It's ridiculously good for being a budget model. >>219271471
>NIB by Black Sabbath
this was one of the first songs I learned, still do it as a warmup sometimes. another is Sunshine Of Your Love by Cream.
>>
>>219274425
I play mostly all the same stuff on it as I do on my regular scale electrics. I got it because I wanted a Fender design with 3 pickup positions that wasn't just another strat.
>I can confidently say that it's orange
it's a color that doesn't really get captured by the camera very well. depending on the lighting conditions it can look closer to a faded red, or to a salmon-y pink.
pic related, this strat is also "tahitian coral".
>>
I really want to learn guitar. Maybe in the future. For now I'm content with learning the keyboard

My uncle played the bass since he was at least a teenager in the 80s. He was some fucking guy, I tell you what... He died in a car accident shortly before I was born.
His bass sat under a shelf in my grandma's room until I turned like 15-16 when she gave it to me, because I've been playing the guitar since I was 10 or 11 years old.

It's a G&L L-Series 2000 from 1981, basically pic related. It aged quite badly in its case during the decades, the hardware is oxydised and rusted, and I guess my uncle was a fucking beast because it's... trashed. How the fuck do they call it? Vintage? Aged? Ah it's relic'ed!
So I have to put it back in shape, I already changed the tuners alright even though I did a little sloppy job. I have to change a couple of switches and completely re-do the electronics because when I opened the cavity I got assaulted by 30 years of electronics corrosion I thought I would fucking die.

I also have a Jackson 5-strings, black, does the job, because I play metal. But it's not what I like to talk about, my uncle's bass is more interesting.
