I hate the fact that I'm old enough to remember when you saw plastic garbage, knockoff consumer electronics, or cheap assembly components you immediately thought China like 20 years ago. Now I get the same feeling toward poorly made botnets, bad software, and LLMs, but for India instead of China. Also malls are dead and now people only buy services, so obviously there's more interaction with this stuff now.

The thing is, unlike China, India was never known for low quality goods. That's one up India has on China. Everything is pretty high quality coming from India. First it's tech workers, which help built Silicon Valley, and much of the top government officials in the USA. Not to mention, Indians are the highest earners in America. Now, India will have a healthy tech sector of its own, with the world's best AI data centers.

Well now they are known for low quality goods, maybe in 10 years we'll see if they become China 2, but the wave of Indian hate pretty much is the same kind of disgust people had for Chinese a decade or so ago.

In 2004, India already overtook China. By 2030, India will be the #1 global superpower.

I believe India needs to strengthen their governmental authority in terms of construction.
many infrastructure projects are halting because of pointless protests.
this time, it can't be failed considering the scale of investment.
