I have a poor relationship with my father. He’s good for nothing. He lost his job at over 60 for trying to embezzle the company he was working for. He left his three kids because “he didn’t love my mom no more”. He had another kid with a disgusting woman who beats him. He stole money from her to pay his debts though so I guess it’s deserved.y sisters and I think that he was beaten so hard that he developed Alzheimer. He’s over 70 now and I don’t think he has too long to live, but I don’t really care.

Sorry for your loss. I wish I could know what to feel in such instances.

Happened two years ago when I was 21 years old. I was in the city and I was in the province. He had health issues, mainly regarding blood pressure, but it was still so sudden, especially since he was a making an effort to be healthier. (quitting smoking, exercising, etc.). I considered him my best friend and I had incredibly shitty dreams where he was still alive for some time after.

He was a bad father and a bad human being I do not miss him. I envy anons who had two normal parents not two schizophrenic bipolar retards.

Happened to me a decade ago. I don't miss him. He was socially retarded and I never really had a functioning relationship with him.

Went to the mall, some bird landed right in front of me, brain immediately thought this was my dad’s reincarnation :(

is your mom still alive?
>>
>>219292152
There there pierre, I hope you at least have some fond memories of him. Imc the hardest thing was going through something hard and having the instinct to reach out to my dad- but he had passed away by then. Make some good memories with your mom if shes still there.

Nothing funnier than dying near Christmas. Just imagine some little children looking forward to Santa visiting then suddenly their dad is dead
>>
>>219292152
Hopefully not in 30 years. Both my parents are fairly young (55~) even though I'm 32. My mom had a heart scare recently though with arrythmia, tests reveal no structural causes so it's probably stress. She quit her sleep meds recently which I now find out later are used as antidepressants in higher dose so hopefully it's just an uncomfortable but harmless side effect of that fucking garbage. My dad drinks a lot and sleeps too little but he seems to be healthy and looks fairly young
>>
oh look, yet another data harvesting thread
I hope your entire family gets cancer and dies in the most horrible way possible
>>
>>219302160
30 years is very optimistic, anon.
I also thought by dad would die well past 80. But he died at 65 even though France has higher life expectancy than Sweden. Plus my grandpa is well over 90 and still here. I was as confident as and now my dad’s dead. Wish you well you and your parents.
>>
>>219303196
85 is optimistic, but he should become at least 70 cmon. His wife is very mad at him for not sleeping well but there is some problems with my half brother so he's always worried. If we can get him to sleep then he should have at least 15 years more.
>>
>>219292152
Sorry to hear that, happened when I was 22, 33 now and I still haven't recovered and never will. You'll see your dad again one day mate, as will I.

I still have dreams about my dad almost every night 11 years on, and they're nearly always very mundane boring ones, but it's nice to still see him in my dreams.
>>
>>219292152
I hope you had good times to remember, Anon.
>>
>>219303309
Bro, my dad was in apparent good health and active three months ago. Then pancreatitis, multiple organ failures, countless necrosectomies, etc. I think they should generalize yearly full-body X-rays for everyone, this would prevent this kind of bad happening.
