And I view russians and serbs as having similar moral character. What you should see on the timeline is that finns have lived between two warring empires for about a millennium and done pretty well despite that. This nation has had the same identity since prehistoric times--The same language, the same culture, the same people, the same land. A national identity much deeper than a mere flag. The swedes and russians could never change that. And while our current flag is a christian cross, for the most part our moral values are older than the crusades. That is something finns should be proud of.What about you? Are brazilians a just and indomitable people? What's left of their prehistoric origins?
