I'm 28 and since I was 25, my father has pestered me constantly into getting a girlfriend. I was doing a college course and I was about to look for a job but my mother got diagnosed with cancer and I ended up spending nearly all the money I have on her (€7000). I now only have €1300 and my father is still asking me when I will get a girlfriend. I tried explaining to him multiple that I do not have the money to afford a girlfriend and I tried explaining hypergamy and he thinks I am wrong and that I could get sex and a girlfriend without money. He said my aunt was an employee at mcdonalds and chose to date her husband because he was the manager at mcdonalds. He thinks this isn't hypergamy. How do I get my father to stop asking when I will be getting a girlfriend?
