A few days ago, I saw my country's president's chief of staff refer to Poland as a "developed country" on social media after visiting Poland, Norway, and Canada, equating the country with Canada and Norway. This is unprecedented. Perhaps, as the Polish posters claim, calling "Poland a developing country in Eastern Europe" is now a thing of the past.
