Ah, the dark age of pop culture. Video games going to shit thru consolization and japanization, garbage anime being produced by the shovelful, absolutely shit genres like nu metal, hip hop, metalcore, extreme metal, boyband & pop princess pop ruling the day, movies being blurry messes cause of early digital cameras and either being too shallow cause of the popularity of MTV videos or too deep as a reaction. The lolsorandum quirk chungus sensibility was the lingua franca of the internet. People thought they were soooooo deeeeeeep for listening to George Carlin and Bill Hicks's acts. Gamer culture was so toxic that it makes today's chuds look like hippies. Homophobia and misogyny were a point of pride, not shame, cause of the popularity of gangsta rap. And the dress fashions were terrible, but you all know what those were, because zoomers are wearing them today. I'd NEVER go back to when I was 18. I'd rather be 40 today, with the black abyss of culture that was the 00's and 10's forever behind me.
Oh, and I must add that WoW was like a cancer eating away at all the geeky stuff - singleplayer games, fantasy, RPG's, it eroded and ruined everything. And LOTR movie aesthetics killed the golden age of Warhammer and D&D.

I remember when i would wait for my parents to leave for work, then turn on PC and play Spore, Red Alert and flash games all day long (in particular stick games, shark/piraniha games, the kill boss stuff, zombie, etc etc...). It truly was a better time, and not only because i was a kid.
