>>

All white people I knew in Taiwan were MAGA nazis. It’s was very weird phenomenon. I get the “loser back home” stereotypes. But I don’t think it’s that bad in other Asian countries I’ve visited.

There are only 845 000 foreigners in all of China. Meanwhile they have 1.4 billion people.
For context Sweden alone has 2.2 million foreigner-born residents.

Ive been in Beijing, Chongqing and Shanghai. Im 6"5, everyone was looking at me, wanting to take a picture with me, talking to me. Few women on the street casually invited me to a bar, then we had sex, although I think it was just because they thought they can get an EU citizenship or money from me, but still had a blast
>>
>>219328204
Oh so I will still get the weird looks I did in Taiwan not the nasty looks but confused looks and the people being like wow
>>
>>219328218
Thirdie behavior, this is why China will never be developed. You'll never see White European women fucking someone just for money or citizenship.

Watch out bro, if you wanna go to the Tienanmen square and the forbidden city you need to make a week prior reservation, pure retardation
>>
I spent two weeks in Nanchang and a few days in Shenzhen did not see a single other white person. There were a lot in Hong Kong but that obviously doesn't count

I travelled 4 weeks in China, Beijing -> Huangshan -> Shanghai -> HK -> Zhangjiajie -> Shangri-la -> Lijiang, Dali.

The only times we encountered other white people were:
-Going to the Jinshanling part of the Chinese wall. All the Chinese go to the extremely busy Badaling part of the wall. Booking a shuttle to Jinshanling put us together with some Russians, a Canadian and two French people.
- Near Huangshan we encountered one Brit at the breakfast in our hotel. He seemed really enthusiastic but also like he was trying to cheer himself on so as not to give in to the culture shock. He only ate a piece of toast and didn't try any of the sausages, noodles etc, baozi etc.. Also in the hotel on top of Huangshan we saw a few other white people.
- In Shanghai you see the occasional white person walking on the street.
- HK doesn't count
- In Zhangjiajie we encountered 3 Dutch guys of which one spoke Chinese. Also in one of the shuttles there were other white people.
- Near tiger leaping gorge there were a bunch of Europeans in the bus. Most native mainland Chinese abhor physical exercise, so popular hiking places quickly get less busy and have a higher percentage of foreigners.

For the rest we met 0 (zero) other foreigners. As for the Chinese, it's better than it used to be. 20 years ago blonde girls were pulled by their hair in order to get a picture. Now people still want pictures quite often and little children will point at you and yell "laowai" but for the rest people pay less attention

For Tiananmen just make a free booking for the national museum, can be done on shorter notice. For the forbidden city just get one of those people who book the tickets for you, it's impossible to do it yourself the official way.

>"laowai"
I thought the word was gwailo?

Aren't taiwanese used of foreigners ?

From my experience, the Chinese on the mainland aren't nearly as curious about foreigners as they used to 10 years ago, which is a good thing.
