>>219412720Even decades ago Japanese women were marrying Korean manual laborers with 5 yen to their name, and that was during the war. There are now hundreds of thousands of Koreans in Japan produced by these KMJF relationships. Not to mention that the Royal Family itself has acknowledged that they have Korean admixture.
japan is starving
>>219412758>Royal Family itself has acknowledged that they have Korean admixture.was like 1200 years ago. that blood would be already 1/(2^36) if 1 century is assumed to be 3 generations.plus, Baekje, the origin of the princess, had significant influence of the archipelago. Large part of its royal family would also have consisted of Japanese blood in the first place.

>>219413349Recently, ancient burial mounds previously thought to exist only in Japan were excavated on the Korean Peninsula, and since the Japanese ones are older, it is highly likely that Baekje was a vassal state of Japan. In other words, it was not Japan that was influenced, but rather Japan that exerted influence. This is no different from the relationship between Korea and China.
>>219412985Wrong. Korea's development happened in the 80's called the Miracle on the Han. It has no Japanese or US aid in its boom. In fact, it is this boom that destroyed Japan's economy and why all of Japan's tech industries it dominated got taken over by Koreans. This is the primary reason why Japanese are bitter towards Koreans to this day and why they seethe nonstop about Korea online.
>>219415474>Korea's development happened in the 80's called the Miracle on the Han. It has no Japanese or US aid in its boom>It has no Japanese or US aid in its boomComplete bullshitAlso, what you said does not contradict the image of the Canadian at all. The fact that the Korean peninsula got razed by the Soviets and Americans after WW2 does not mean that the Japanese did not develop the region, and while most of the industrial and infrastructural development was wasted by the war the reforms the Japanese had done as well as the education they had given to the people remained and gave a certain positive effect.
>>219415796I was referring to the>It has no Japanese or US aid in its boomof>Korea's development happened in the 80's called the Miracle on the Han. It has no Japanese or US aid in its boom>Korea's development>in the 80'sMy good friend, not the immediate post-war

>>219415829Can you show us the sources that shows billions provided to Korea by the US and Japan in the 80's to ensure it would develop into the juggernaut it is today?I am absolutely aware of our US aid spent on Korea over the decades. It is to host our Military Industrial Complex (aka, the bases - which we've since scaled down to one) in Korea as part of our strategy to rein in China/Russia.But I am most curious as to Japanese sources of funds provided to Korea in the 80's and onward, as I'm sure Japan wanted its bitter rival next door to challenge their companies and industries. Can you give us any proof?
>>219415887https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_on_the_Han_River>External factors include the enormous economic and technical assistance provided by foreign countries, particularly Japan (see: Treaty on Basic Relations Between Japan and the Republic of Korea) and the United States, access to Western and Japanese markets, and the acquisition of foreign currency by Korean migrant workers in the early stages of economic growth. Here you go.
>>219412644so only Korean women hate Korean men?
>>219416227You're still not providing any proof of your claims.>Treaty on Basic Relations Between Japan and the Republic of KoreaDid you even bother to read up on that? That was back in the 50's post Japans loss of war. The aid provided was to rebuild the very infrastructure Japan destroyed during their occupation and war. This is well before Korea's boom in the 80's.>and the United StatesWhich is already shown and mentioned here already as primarily Military aid.>Trade and foreign currencyKorea joined the WTO in 1995, well past the start of their economic boom in the 80's.For future reference, it typically helps to read up on a topic before you comment.

It was interesting to see the physical differences across East Asia. In Japan, the men tended to be quite small and thin. In contrast, the guys in Northeast China were taller. Taiwanese men seemed a bit shorter as well, which I guess is because their roots are mostly in Southern China
>>219416375>That was back in the 50's post Japans loss of war.It was passed in 1965.>In accordance to the treaty, Japan supplied South Korea with $300 million grant paid over 10 years, $30 million per year and $200 million in low-interest loans as a 'reparation fee'[9]Which means the money was actually transferred between 1965-1975.>The aid provided was to rebuild the very infrastructure Japan destroyed during their occupation and war.Destroyed? I wasn't intending on claiming that there was either, though looking back at my posts I did unintentionally imply it. What I wanted to say is that both America and Japan played a big role in modern Korean economic development.

I wasn't intending on claiming that there was either, though looking back at my posts I did unintentionally imply it. >What I wanted to say is that both America and Japan played a big role in modern Korean economic development. That is a contradiction.
>>219416822>Again, economic historian Lee (2002) writes, the Korean government was intent on pursuing a development strategy oriented on capital investment to increase production. It, thus, proposed to allocate 70% of total aid to repair damaged industrial plants, leaving the rest to be used for consumer goods. >The US aid administrators insisted on pursuing stabilization first, then development, placing priority on reining in hyperinflation caused by the expansion of debt to finance the war, and on securing a bare subsistence level of living. The imperative was securing macroeconomic stability and a self-sustainable path to development to reduce Korea’s dependence on foreign aid.Your own link shows the difference. The money provided by the US was to rebuild immediate infrastructure (roads, ports, factories) to produce military equipment and allow the logistics for the military due to concerns communists would invade Korea again soon, as pointed out in the pic posted at >>219415474The money did not go to help Korea turn into an consumer electronics, shipbuilding, medical, and semiconductor powerhouse starting in the 80's.>if you want information specifically about Japanese aid to Korea during and after the 80's then I can't give you any as I'm not aware of such a thing. My point proven. >>219415174>it is highly likely that Baekje was a vassal state of Japan. This is your nationalists fantasy. Your own written records show that the Yamato power was weakening during this period of time and as a result, you guys sought to get assistance from Paekche Koreans. But more so, the only reason why Japan is an Asian ethnicity is due to the migration of Koreans to the Japanese islands, colonizing the lands during the Yayoi through Kofun periods--these people are the ones who ultimately went on to build the Kofun Tumuli/Tombs to begin with. This is why your DNA is vastly Korean (over 91% of Japanese carry Korean DNA to this very day) and its where your culture, laws, and even language comes from.

>>219419115It's almost certain that Baekje was either a vassal state of Japan or a very close country...First of all, Japan had a territory on the Korean Peninsula called Mimana Nihonfu, and the ceding of part of this territory to neighboring countries led to a coup d'état. If you study Japanese history, it's only natural that Japan had influence over parts of the Korean Peninsula.
