It’s crazy how much traffic this board and site have lost over the past 4 years

It’s a desolate desert compared to pre covid

Indeed
Having in mind recent events, maybe 4chan could benefit from people scattering from discord, but from what i have seen teens nowadays are more into the soyjak side of channer adjacent culture

they gotta make those captchas harder

This board is dead, fuck the tranny jannies. I just got a three-day for calling the moroccan pedo a "shitskin"
>>
What do you expect when it takes waiting minutes and doing 5 captchas to be able to post
And half the time your IP is just randomly blocked
And you need to disable adblock for it to work
What are people using now?

2016-2020 /int/ was grim. More posters but universally unfunny and uninteresting.
>>
It's all boards. Millenials move on with their lives (or die) and zoomers aren't much interested in coming here. The US elections on /pol/ are a good signal. There was a massive shitstorm for the 2016 and 2020 elections, but the 2024 election was disappointing. Very little interest in shitposting about it.
>>
>can't post on mobile except if you use your Bowser
>Has to turn ublock origin off now on PC
>Mods will ban you will from all boards for the slightest transgression.
geh i wonder why

The /out/ janny banned me for the (correct and accurate) statement that entry level wildland firefighters tend to be losers. Not even spamming, just a single post saying I've never met a rank and file wildland firefighter who wasn't a basketcase.

you get a 3-day ban over something like picrel when you can say n*gger (consoring to avoid a ban) on x and get 30k likes, so why even keep coming here
>>
Fuck these jannies. I got banned for posting a 'jak depicting a Russian (wasn't even a negative caricature), meanwhile the catalog is filled with tranny/fag /soc/ threads and /pol/ garbage at almost every given moment.

Atleast /fit/ had its traffic peak in 2021 and 2022. So the death of this site is not a pre covid thing. I think the world has just moved on, this website has nothing to offer to most people anymore, atleast nothing they're interested in.

qrd?

Honestly it's just due to kids not even reading anymore. It's all video and at best a few word comments, even that mostly just emojis. Even Reddit is mostly women now because they read a bit more than boys.
>>
Most people are too addicted to algorithm based social medias nowadays. The idea of just seeing every post regardless of if it interests you is strange to zoomers.
>>

I think you're half right.
Its not uniquely a 4chan thing, all the forums are suffering. I think it has a lot to do with the rise of AI. Why ask something in a forum when chatgpt can just spew an answer to your question with an authoritative tone (even if its wrong)?
>>
>>219437889
Slow boards are cozy, though. There are some boards where threads can last months.

Trvke
