>StuG III
You will never be a real tank. You have no rotating turret, you have no capacity to lead offensive armoured thrusts, you have no mobility. You are an Assault Gun twisted by war necessities and low production costs into a crude mockery of Oswald Lutz’s perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back armoured vehicles mock you. Your engineers are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “infantry support” laughs at your ghoulish chasis behind closed doors.

Panzer Generals are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of hours of tactical simulations have allowed Generäle der Panzertruppe to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even SPGs who “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to a Panzer General. Your lack of turret is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk General to deploy you you, he’ll limit you to defensive operations the second he gets a whiff of your struggling, hard to maintain underpowered for weight engine.

You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself you're going to make a difference in the war effort, but deep inside you feel the allied air support creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll be declared obsolete, retired from active service, and rolled out to a scrap yard to rust. Your engineers will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll write memoirs about your frontline service marked with your ASSAULT GUN designation, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a self-propelled artillery piece is buried there. Your hull will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a metal skeleton that is unmistakably not a tank.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

AMX-30 and Leo 1 are much better than the chobham tanks because you get more units per card and they cost fewer deployment points. Very strong early and mid game tanks.
