Chips accounted for 34.7 percent of total exports during the period, up 16.4 percentage points from a year ago.>Other items posting gains included petroleum products (up 10.5 percent), computer peripherals (129.2 percent), ships (22.7 percent), and wireless communication devices (22.8 percent).
