They need to import more subsaharan and indians to combat this appalling lack of diversity

The agricultural revolution and its consequences has been a disaster for the planet.
>>
>>219609273
It's cold and was the first place to be heavily industrialized.
>>
>>219609273
What surprises me is how China and India managed to keep their biodiversity, europeans raped their lands hard asf despite having far less people, greedy mfers now they plant pines to pretend they have nature back like wtf nigga
>>
>>219609273
Spanish "high" diversity can be attributed to Hispanic Americans migrating there and planting their native flora, like palms, araucarias, papaya trees, etc
>>219609399
All fakely and artificially planted, not a single natural real forest in sign, are Finns trying to compensate something or what
>>
>>219609273
>french Guyana in yellow as mainland France
>mostly untouched part of the Amazonian forest
>but Brazil is green
>Denmark in orange, Greenland has no color
>RDC must be in green but no color

Looks a bad way to consider biodiversity, reds country looks more legitimate though. Biomes map may be better.

Actually looked into this chud fact once. The truth is that no one knows how much old growth we have. It's never been tallied. Makes it easy to make up whatever facts best fit your agenda I guess.
>>
>>219609612
It’s not hard for nature to fight back against Indians and Chinks.
>>
>>219609654
Brazil will always be green, its a continental country with 6 biomes, only russia and the us can compete on this, 90% of the country lives on the coast, the great majority of it is untouched
>>
>>219609273
Europeans hate nature and life
Hispanics love nature and life
This is why we will win in the end
>>
>>219609273
and that's a good thing.
>>
>>219609399
biodiversity doesn't mean woodland only

Climate and geography define biodiversity much more than anything else.
>>
>>219609748
Its about biodiversity my nibba, not about how much of the same plants and animals you have, but how many different ones

I've heard geographical barriers like the Mediterranean and some east-west running mountain ranges like the Alps make it harder for species to survive glacial periods and recolonize glaciated terrain and tundra after. The mountain ranges in North America mostly run north-south and none of the other continents had glaciation as severe.
Of course Europe also had a much higher population density and agriculture for much longer
>>
people tend to like our nature but i view it with contempt for this reason
just a raped corpse of what it once was romanticised nonsensically into what it never was
>>
>>219610122
That's not what you said, strangely out-of-character Brazilian guy.
>>
>>219610153
yeah, I agree your land is fucking boring
>>
>>219609273
This map is like an IQ test.
Smaller countries are obviously going to have smaller areas with less climate and geographical variety and with less types species
It doesn't mean they don't have nature at all.

In Europe people cancel vital road construction becasue there is a super special cockroach species in one bush.
In non-European countries they just level the whole forest and be done with. Yes technically you still have these decreasing patches of nature with many diverse species in it, so that's why the country counts as "diverse".
>>
>>219610532
lol typical arrogant European response
>>
>>219610582
NIGGER
>>
>>219610532
Talking about non-europeans leveling entire forests while in reality western europe already killed pretty much its entire native forests centuries ago before moving to do it elsewhere, nice of you to be considerate of the ~1% left
>>
>>219609273

lmao at Haiti being yellow but the DR being green
>>
>>219610532
this describes the whole.
the chart is quite senseless since the degree is dominantly determined by artificial borders of countries. green-red coloration seems to be a mild trick too.

europeans hunted, torched, and chopped down every piece of wilderness for settlement expansion.

>>219610532
It's not that deep nigga,
Human expansion negatively correlates to biodiversity loss. Central Europe, Northern Africa, and Central Asia were the epicenters of human civilization and settlements for 20,000+ years.
>>
>>219609273
Looks almost like smaller countries with harsher climates that require more specialization have lower biodiversity than large multi-climate countries and countries with paradise climates that support easy life.
>>
>>219609273
this is mainly just correlated to landmass of the country desu, desertic or frozen shitholes aside
>>
>>219609612
>what is population density
Also, there are basically no xboxhueg countries in Europe proper that contain very varied biomes.
