I loved practically everything about Spain when I was there. The only things I didn’t enjoy were how hot the Andalucian region was (my own fault for visiting southern Spain in July) and the sheer amount of Africans in Bilbao (I later learned I had booked a hostel in one of the worst areas of the city). Other than that I found Spain to be a wonderful country with great food, safe cities, and beautiful people. I’m planning to go back next spring to see some of the cites I didn’t get a chance to visit (Valencia, Zaragoza, and Salamanca mostly).It’s a shame this thread, like seemingly all threads about Spain, has devolved into South Americans hurling insults at each other.
