It’s kind of weird because i know Germans have a lot of jokes regarding France and its people, like many of our others European neighbors have as well.Although, in France Germany must be the only major nation for which we don’t have a single joke.I have heard plenty of ones about the Belgians, English, Italians or even the Swiss. But concerning Germany there is not a single joke that comes to my mind. And i’m sure that the average French person couldn’t give you one either. Despite the fact our two nations have interacted with each other a lot of times over the history. I really can’t explain why… But I assume it must probably be related to the multiple times you btfo us or something…

Here is the weird thing..In Belgium, if anyone asks us who are our neighbours, we'll say "France and the Netherlands"then upon reflection we will probably say "oh, and Luxembourg"We will forget Germany. It's the most important country in the EU and it's there be dragon land for us. And I live closer to Germany than any other country.My theory is this: After WWII there has been a brainwashing to cut any mental representation of Germany among its western neighbours.
