Do you have stuff like that in your country?

Basically it's a device that allows me to watch movies and series from virtually every streaming service in the world
>>
>>219788703
that's neat, anon
how much did it cost?
>>
>>219788703
No I just use a laptop and an HDMI cable
>>
>>219788703
Yeah I think I've seen nodded tv boxes like that being sold, usually with IPTV subscriptions also.
Don't really see the point though since you can just buy an android TV box and install Stremio and watch whatever film or series you like without paying like some boomer goy to a meme company. You can also buy an iptv prescription for pennies yourself.

Though it's not a bad business model I reckon. Might milk a few boomers myself methinks.

Yeah my inbred mother watches football for 6 hours everyday with one of these things
>>219788908
If it's like my mother's then that's just the price for the hardware in OP's pic, you buy it, plug it to your TV, then pay a monthly subscription to watch your shitty shows
>>
>>219788908
Yes
>>
>>219788965
I don't pay monthly
Just once

Yeah well they're essentially selling you a cheap TV box with free software that costs nothing to install yourself at a premium. But for someone who can't be bothered with dealing with all that I guess it's fine to pay a small fee for the convenience.

Why tf would I get something like that when everything is freely available on the internet? are you stupid?
>>
>>219788703
I'd rather own my media so I setup my own media server after scrolling through /g/ for a few hours.

It cost $2.99 a month for my VPN which will get cancelled once I have enough content to get me through the next 5 years. You're still at the mercy of what's allowed by the streamers. Example something is not PC it's deleted from the stream version unlike from my downloaded copy.

I also learned useful skills in the process such as VPNs, peer to peer networks, piracy, server setup and how to communicate between them. In the end I still saved more money this way and it's more fun as I have been downloading rare Asian and art films not commonly available. I would seriously recommend trying this out too instead of making some reseller fag that's selling these rich

>>219788703
You don't need to pay for movies on the internet.
And piracy devices like UniTV cannot be sold in japan.

You think pirates care, that's funny.

I pirate everything and always have.
My HTPC connected to my tv has three 4 TB drives packed full of movies, shows and stuff.

Is the anti-piracy thing that bad in the US?
>>
>>219793068
Nah you can pirate without a vpn. At most you'll get a letter from your ISP, but i've only had that happen once. i think for really big famous shows/movies they have stronger copyright so if you try to pirate them you're more likely to get a letter
>>
>>219793131
>a letter from your ISP
I actually think some of our ISP's pulled that move a decade back or so. Not sure if it actually caused anyone any problems though.
As far as I know the only people in Sweden who get into trouble for pirating are big dogs who run the sites like the PirateBay lads and stuff.
>>
>>219788703
On one hand, this is peak 4th favelado behavior.
On the other hand, stealing money from big corpos is based.

>needing a VPN to pirate stuff
lmao "land of the free" ladies and gentlemen
>>
>>219793339
The letter basically jsut is like "please dont do this again" i've never heard of actual legal action taken
>>
>>219793397
Yep, same shit happened here.
I googled it quickly and it was mainly two ISP's who did it for a few months before they just gave up.
>>
>>219788703
Can it be used worldwide or only in brasilialand
