Do you celebrate it in your country?
Today I congratulated my Chinese coworker and she said huh? With what? A then she was like aaaah the women's day? We don't congratulate with it.
I congratulated my polish coworker. On top of being Eastern European she's also vegetarian and has had pink hair in the past so I figured she definitely must know it but she was like huh? Is there some kind of holiday today? But 5 minutes later she came back to me and said thank you I forgot about it.
Yup mmhm.

Nothing creepy, in my country it is customary to congratulate all women on the 8th of March. If you don't do that you are considered a chudcel

I'll goon to my friends bikini pics.

we do
but we also celebrate "the defender of fatherland day" (Febrary 23rd), but appart from congratulating people serving in millitary/police common men are also celebrated

i guess it makes it more fare?

Women's day here is a political shitshow in which institutional feminism is defended and celebrated through parades and social medis posts. We don't have this thing of giving flowers to women and so on, so there's a confrontational, dark aura upon this day. Luckily, it's slowly becoming more irrelevant after the pandemic (2015-2020 was the toughest era), but still noticeable.

You don't have feminism in russia
>>
We do but it's already annoying. I already gave flower and gifts to all my female coworkers for the 1st of March (Mărțisor) now I have to do it again.

Do they shut up the other 364 days if I do?
>>

we have some outposts of femenism in Russia and young women 100% believe crap foreign (and some local) feminists say
women have a lot of priveleges here, however
women:
>dont go to army (the most important nowdays lol)
>likely to get property when divorced
>etc
>>
>>219794942
I think your polish coworker likes you
>>
>>219794942
99.99% of the population has no idea about such a day. What's the point of creating pussy day?
>>
I fucking hate women so much.

we only 'celebrate' because the supermarkets put tulips on sale :( we keep it really low key.. no parties or anything and it’s actually a workday today
but i’ve seen russians who actually celebrate it quite strongly
