Remember when half of the Internet was Nordic?
>>
No.
>>
>>219796116
Turkey was a surprisingly early adopter as well though this map doesn't reflect it
>>
>>219796116
My wife was taking BBC then, and she is taking BBC now. I guess not much has changed! She did get a QoS tattoo around 2011 though
>>
>>219796116
I had 3 PCs and 1 Xbox back then
>>
>>219796116
I was minus 5 in the year 2000, so no
>>
>>219796116
My parents had pc back then but still haven't figured out how to use one, crazy
>>
>>219796116
We had a communications minister who in 1998 said that "aimless web surfing is a fad".
>>
>>219796145
this map is supposed to be % of country's population using the internet. So yeah even back then there was a lot of Turks in raw numbers. idk about 2000 but around 2008 they seemed to be everywhere
>>
Internet was way more polite and way higher IQ
>>
>>219796116
it was a better time
>>
remember forums with custom signature graphics? now everything's a fucking discord. VGH......
>>
>>219796116
>2000

there were more internet users in Italy than in all the Nordics

maybe in the early ‘90s it was as you say
>>
>>219796445
Dubious. Even today, more Reddit users are from Sweden than Italy. Italy can't into internet.
>>
>>219796116
no wonder internet is much better right now
>>
>>219796116
I don't really because we didn't have /int/ and things in the internet didn't have flags on them. Not that I used the internet that much back then anyway. Mostly played some simple browser games and downloaded emulator games.

MODS!

We were in local networks connected buildings within districts of the cities, people did it by themselves. Then ISPs took over all of the existing local networks.

Bibi is calling you because now the millions are being spending in the war and not the divide and conquer between black and whites
>>
>>219796116
It was frankly utopian. If you weren't around for it, I don't feel bad for you because you're more than likely part of the problem. Fuck you.
