They actually managed to save and fix EU5!!
>>219804972i was raped by timur the last time i played in that region
EU4 with Anbennar no diffs EU5
>>219804972>lets add bunch of worthless mechanics so "tall" players think they actually play the gamelol lmao even
>>219805612This lol. Instead of button that does X, you now have to play solitaire for 5 minutes to do X.
>>219804972Performance is still assIts still boring and unintuitiveTheres still too much busy work
*unengaging not unintuitive, im drunk
>>219804972everytime i see this game it looks like everything in under the fog of war. The lighting is terrible
>>219804972man these graphics suck. EU4 was much more crisp.>>219805612kek
>>219807652I quite like the semi-transparent look you can enable, but it absolutely rapes performance for me, so I have to make due with the flat paper mad mode. Sadge
>>219804972What did they do
waiting for a few years and new pc before touching EU5
>>219807861fix most shit, it's playable now, just like EU4 was at launch
>>219807861You can make Medieval Soviet Unions with Peasants. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBEd1Wwsvjc
>4x the province count>24x the tick countWho's retarded idea was this?
>>219804972Yeah, it's pretty fun.But blobbing is STILL the best, it's just that now you delegate the lands on your fringes to vassals.
>>219808148I tested a mod that removes hourly ticks, and the difference was within the margin of error, <5% faster with only daily ticks. They only do army/navy movement and combat calculations on the hourly ticks anyway, everything else is on the daily ticks, including I think AI decisions
>>219808449Whatever the reason, the game becomes unplayable after 1650-1700. Even on a powerful rig.
>>219808549Thats just all paradox games innit. The longer the game goes on the more pops there are, the more money the states have available to spend, and the more troops there are running around, all of which need to make AI decisions. Btw if I can shill a little, me and some other people made a mod to start the game in 1444 instead, that way you get properly started much faster, and can you experience more of the late game before lag kicks in, I'd recommed giving that a try if you want to play past 1600 more
>>219804972I want to play this shit but my 7 years old budget gaming PC probably can't handle it.
>>219804972wow I can't wait to play the "click building button with the highest number 100 times every 5 minutes" game
>>219808947If you set everything to low and are okay with only playing at speed 4 it should be fine. If you want speed 5 (like in eu4) you pretty much need a supercomputer. I bought a 9800x3d a year ago, and even with that and minimum settings it still stutters for a few seconds on the month tick
>>219808947My rig is pretty old already too with a 2060 and i7-9700k, and I can play it just fine for the most part. There shouldn't be any problems as long as you turn the 3d map off (it sucks anyway), and the game will eventually start chugging in later centuries regardless of your rig anyway.
>>219808947Just use Loss Less Scaling until you upgrade
>>219809523Whats that
>>219808549implying you’d actually continue playing once you’ve already blobed out and dominated the map (which happens around 1600 usually)
game looks fun but I have no reason to touch it until the byzzie dlc is released later this year
>>219808859Of course it would get slowER. But it becomes unplayable in EU5. They did not test and optimize the game properly.
>>219805365>t. literal embodiment of the country of Turkey
>>219805612ThisEUIV is betterEUV is boring building spam
>>219808127>Watch the video>You actually can't because Paradox forgot to give Peasant Republics a bonus to Peasant Enfranchisement
