>>219813098I'm moving there this month, so I can tell you late April how things are going. It is EXPENSIVE! Like, people are NOT exaggerating the rents at all. You NEED a good job. $1500/mo is the MINIMUM you'll pay in Manhattan (non-nigger infested areas), and that is just for a room, with two or three roommates. If you look in Brooklyn, or Jersey, you can actually find some fairly affordable places, but it'll be a 30-45m commute by public transit into Manhattan from those places.
