Watching videos like this always feels so surreal to me. All these people walking around in a city that looks like it was ripped straight from a pipe dream like there's nothing special because they're just used to this, but this city is unlike anything I've ever seen or will ever see in my life. We look the same, act the same, walk the same, but their lives are practically in another dimension from mine and i don't think either of us will ever truly grasp the distance between our lives. They don't even know how special it is nor the fact 99% of the world looks nothing like this but to them it's daily life.It gets even more strange when i think of how I'll likely never visit much less get to live anywhere like that in my short existence on this earth before my mind is dragged back to the void we spawn from and then It'll be nothing forever. What turn of chance decreed that those people be born in a fantasyland while others are forced to live their entire existence in a wartorn miserable hell like South Sudan? What about all the souls born before and condemned to eternal misery in prehistory? Is it completely random or is there some planner out there doing this? I'll probably never know before i die.
