Public education is fundamentally unserious in my country. The kids either do nothing or cheat. If they are punished for either reason, their parents send threatening emails demanding they be passed until you or the administration give in and/or they are moved to accelerated online credit recovery courses in which they cheat and earn the right to graduate early. Don’t attend? Doesn’t matter, you’ll pass. Credit recovery. Don’t do any work in class? Doesn’t matter, you’ll pass. Credit recovery. Pass. Pass. Pass. My job means nothing. It’s fake. Again, the kids who cheat and do no work and can’t behave actually get to graduate early. My instruction has no influence. I’d try to get work at a private school but I’m a product of the same education system and couldn’t cut it. The job market sucks and it doesn’t seem realistic for me to change careers at this point, my only “experience” is in “education.”

Thankfully our schools don't give a fuck about any students, talented or otherwise, and the only thing that matters is your exam score and grading is objective because it's all MCQs with very few essays and stuff. If you're good you can go at your own pace and if you're a retard you just cheat your way through or fail
