I wonder how similar/different the average town/small city is in Alaska compared to here in northern Sweden. We're on about the same latitudes but I guess Alaska is a lot colder in general.

That's 90% chugs in the rural countryside deleting their families after having too much firewater. Happens a lot in New Mexico too.

Anchorage is at about the same latitude as Tampere, but because of the Gulf Stream Scandinavia has a much milder climate

I got offered a job with a 10k wage increase up there and I don't know if I should take it.

I don't want to move to a place where I can't make any friends and everybody is fucking miserable, I left NYC previously because of that.
10k aint worth the social isolation.
>>
>>219820881
fucking freak
>>
>>219820892
I hope life gets better for you, man.
>>
>>219820837
I would say you only live once and being able to say you lived in Alaska even if for a short time is worth considering.
>>

I hear its basically like another country with its own unique economy, culture, and environment even in the "big city". The air is pristine like nowhere on Earth, but the mosquitoes can be drink a man dry in the Summer.
