Do they have a tranny? Just imply that they're all the same tranny. Most people just think of shahar when they see their flag so that's pretty hard to counteract.

why you think makes the bombs our planes use in tehran?
>>
>>219817636
Alright, but why the fuck did bibi block F35 sales to Turkey then?
>>
>>219817663
same reason we should have blocked f16 to israel, it destroyed our domestic production. during a financial crisis. if us never gave f16 to us in the 70s all the countries flying f35 today would be flying israeli planes instead
>>
>>219817783
Bibi blocked F35 exports to Turkey because he's afraid of Turkeys domestic production?
All of my whats. Explain.
>>
>>219817663
>Israeli authorities claim the sale could compromise their “qualitative military edge” in the region
Did you know that it's illegal for the US to supply military equipment to other middle eastern countries that negate Israel's military edge? Even to other allies. It's an American law. Only Israel gets the latest and greatest.
https://congressionalmonitor.org/content/security-assistance-and-arms-export-control-reform-act-2008
>Section 201 requires the president to carry out an assessment, based on “empirical and qualitative” criteria, of the “extent to which Israel possesses a qualitative military edge [QME] over military threats to Israel.” Arms sales to other countries in the Middle East will be conditioned on whether they undermine Israel’s QME based on these criteria
Israel first.

It kinda doesn't matter anymore, I asked in /tr/ and got my answer.
Question was who the girl in my OP is, but turns out she's an instagram model so I lost all interest.
Thanks anyways.
Hold on, now that you said it, what do you think about the situation above?
>>
>>219817970
I don't care. Unlike most Cypriots atm, I kinda like the existence of UK bases in Cyprus. Just means anything gonna be shot down.

TR bases, though, ehhh, they're useless anyway. Not like Cypriots of either side have any good AA.
>>
>>219817663
Oh that, conservative Israelis just dont see Turkey as an ally. A bunch of Israelis. buying up land both north and south of Cyprus.
>>
>>219817970
you calling him a prime minister almost gave me brain damage no he was never a prime minister he got 6% in the election and served for 6 months in a fake made up job called 'alternate prime minister' after explicitly and openly lying to his voters (joining a party he explicitly said he wont join with)

he fucked up so hard he party fell apart and never recovered since and no he was never a 'prime minister' he was whatever this gay shit is
https://grokipedia.com/page/Alternate_Prime_Minister_of_Israel

as for the man himself he's just a run of the mill retard
>>
>>219817805
Regarding domestic mil stuff, Turkish companies have a huge anti-PR when it comes to religion, esp, when it comes to Bayraktar (unlike more foundational Aselsan, Roketsan)

Just huge brain drain, overall; despite the top unis in TR actually producing good engineers.

Isn't Turkey building its own AA because they wouldn't receive the Patriot system?
>Oh that, conservative Israelis just dont see Turkey as an ally
That's basically what media tells us about all of israel here.
>A bunch of Israelis buying up land both north and south of Cyprus.
>But, Russians buy up more I feel. So don't see it as Israeli buying off of the island.
How does that make you feel?

I'm a Cypriot, not/and Turkish. I am a TC, though. Hard to explain.

Isn't Turkey building its own AA because they wouldn't receive the Patriot system?

>>Oh that, conservative Israelis just dont see Turkey as an ally
>That's basically what media tells us about all of israel here.
This part I don't know enough to say without hearsay, entschuldigung.

>Explain, I thought Turks like their own military industry?
They do, yeah. My Turkish friends are quite patriotic almost. It is individual. One of my friends didnt want to stay in Bayraktar cuz of religious management. Aselsan (weakly) tried to recruit me; I refused because I didn't want to be stuck in some office in Ankara.

If Germany had 1/10 the motivation of its local engs for mil stuff, though. Oof. Turkey actively pushes away potential candidates, and Germany can't attract, IMO. Atleast for defence industry.

I think I get it, TC = Turkish Citizen? But how come?
>No idea about what prob Roketsan does.
I thought they do
>One of my friends didnt want to stay in Bayraktar cuz of religious management
What does that mean? Do they not allow certain religions there do you have to belong to a certain religion? Because excuse me if I misunderstood but I was under the impression that Turkey is a laicist Nation.
>Aselsan (weakly) tried to recruit me; I refused because I didn't want to be stuck in some office in Ankara.
I mean it wouldn't be much different here either, you cannot WFH in the arms industry, you have to be in the office (where every HQ is).
>If Germany had 1/10 the motivation of its local engs for mil stuff
>and Germany can't attract, IMO. Atleast for defence industry.
We have VERY motivated and capable engineers, the best in the world, but it is just not a priority for the government. They're sawing Germany's economy and I would be surprised if we'll be able to manufacture anything in 5 years. (De-industrialization is firing on all cylinders)
>Turkey actively pushes away potential candidates
How so? The religious thing?
>>
>>219818474
>I think I get it, TC = Turkish Citizen? But how come?
Oh no no no no. TC = Turkish Cypriot. Cypriot is cypriot. Can be Greek, Armanian, Turkish, Maronite, even. But a Cypriot *is* Cypriot first of all (ignoring Turkish/Greek extreme righters)

>>No idea about what prob Roketsan does.
>I thought they do
They might, I don't.

>What does that mean? Do they not allow certain religions there do you have to belong to a certain religion? Because excuse me if I misunderstood but I was under the impression that Turkey is a laicist Nation.
Turkey is a deeply divided nation when it comes to laicite. Atatürk might have tried, but he died too soon.
This difference you can see when it comes to higher education and white collar jobs. Laicite (laiklik as it's called), is mostly truly practiced by more well off people in Turkey, in Istanbul or on the Med. You might have heard the phrase "black" vs "white" Turks.
Atleast this is my experience, as a Cypriot. It's a huge difference, honestly.

>I mean it wouldn't be much different here either, you cannot WFH in the arms industry, you have to be in the office (where every HQ is).
Ok you got me. It was more personal, I like my freedom of speech; that's why I moved away even from Cyprus (north part atleast).

>We have VERY motivated and capable engineers, the best in the world, but it is just not a priority for the government. They're sawing Germany's economy and I would be surprised if we'll be able to manufacture anything in 5 years. (De-industrialization is firing on all cylinders)
Which is absolutely super sad. I myself finished my masters in DE uni. I'm 100% sure, if govt just motivated a bit you guys would have super Wunderwaffen again.

>How so? The religious thing?
Yep. For a lot of people it is. Don't think of it in German sense, I've lived in Germany, it's different in TR.
Again, with the previous convo.
>>
>>219818703
>Oh no no no no. TC = Turkish Cypriot. Cypriot is cypriot. Can be Greek, Armanian, Turkish, Maronite, even. But a Cypriot *is* Cypriot first of all (ignoring Turkish/Greek extreme righters)
So you're a Cypriot, but you live in the Turkish part, even though you're not a Turkish Citizen?
I thought all Cypriots lived in the south and that the Turks had exterminated every Cypriot in the north.
>You might have heard the phrase "black" vs "white" Turks.
Nope.
But I still don't get what "religious anti-pr" is supposed to mean, sorry ( ;-;)
>It was more personal, I like my freedom of speech
You don't have that when working in the arms industry here either. Hell, you don't have "true" freedom of speech here anyways. Speaking out against the Corona-Measures was a death sentence here. There's Doctors still in jail who spoke out against the Covid-Jabs which is fucking insane.
>I myself finished my masters in DE uni
Cool, which University?
>Wunderwaffen
We never had Wunderwaffen.
German Wunderwaffen were big, heavy and still needed a built. You know who really had Wunderwaffen? The US, they had a single munition (a bomb) that could vaporize an entire city.
Atom bombs are Wunderwaffen, Supersized Tanks that need 5 times the oil of a regular tank are not.
>Yep. For a lot of people it is.
Huh.
>>
>>219818793
>So you're a Cypriot, but you live in the Turkish part, even though you're not a Turkish Citizen?
No, I'm not a Turkish citizen. Most Turkish Cypriots aren't. Turkish != Turkey
It's not a Turkish part, per se, it's a in a weird zone, despite the gajillions of actual Turkish troops on the north part.
(Turks will stone me for the above lmao)

>But I still don't get what "religious anti-pr" is supposed to mean, sorry ( ;-;)
A Turk can explain it better, as I'm more of an observer. However, I've noticed this: A Turk can be more secular or either more religious. A more secular Turk engineer would hate a religious env in a company (think calls to prayer).

>Cool, which University?
One on the south by a lake.

>>Yep. For a lot of people it is.
>Huh.
Same shit again, they don't want to hear calls to prayers when they work or be pressured into the religious bs.
>>
>>219818891
>Turkish != Turkey
Ah, so you're some other Turkic ethnicity? Or Not Turkic at all?
>A more secular Turk engineer would hate a religious env in a company (think calls to prayer)
>Same shit again, they don't want to hear calls to prayers when they work or be pressured into the religious bs.
There's calls to prayer there?
I mean Germany has their own religious Shenanigans at places. Any public room (School, Bureau, etc.) must have two crosses on the wall in Bavaria lmao.
>One on the south by a lake.
Universität Konstanz?
>>
>>219818940
>Ah, so you're some other Turkic ethnicity? Or Not Turkic at all?
Cypriot is Cypriot. It's a bastard nation. Some are Turkic, yeah.

>Bavaria
Bavaria is not a normal place when it comes to religion, though. Yet, still far more secular than post 2010 Turkey lol.

>>One on the south by a lake.
>Universität Konstanz?
Huh.
