are you curious about india?
>>
>>219822981
Yes, I kinda wish to visit but it's a pain in the ass to get there, plus I don't know anyone who would go with me
>>
>>219822981
yes
>>
>>219822981

Yes, hello.
>>
I'm interested in cute and busty Indian girls. I would want to visit but I'm afraid of getting sick from the food. My friend went to India a few years ago and he was in a great hotel and still got sick despite only eating there.
>>
>>219822996
>but it's a pain in the ass to get there
it's not really that hard to get there. there's a direct flight from london to goa now.
>>
>>219822981
No. Just thinking about india makes me puke
>>
>>219823138
Yeah I know, but I've never been outside of Evropa, also I think (not sure) we need a visa to enter
>>
>>219823152
you do need a visa and it's a total pain in the ass to get, really antiquated and retarded system (like everything the indian government does)

you need a local sponsor and have to jump through a bunch of other autistic hoops

where in europe have you traveled? what was your favorite and least favorite place? I'm thinking of going to georgia since its visa free for americans
>>
It's probably a massive dump but since they're colonizing the entire west I believe it's my right to go there and see it for myself
>>
>>219823227
it is a massive dump but it's also incredibly fun and freeing to explore there

it's possible for a country to be both a dump and a great place to explore simultaneously, these things don't contradict each other. in fact. I'd say that generally the more put together places are LESS fun to explore.
>>
>>219823271
I'd rather go to Vietnam or something like that.
>>
i've read that even indians dont eat indian street food or even restaurants and that you would only eat food from people you know is that true
>>
>>219822981
no
>>
>>219823271
literally what is there to see
id rather visit pre war ukraine and explore ussr era buildings and ride trains
>>
>>219823189
Damn that's sad
I've been to most of western european countries, germany is by far my favorite
Never been to georgia but I've tried their food and it's delicious, also the mountains
>>
>>219823301
that is probably a better idea yes. Malaysia and Vietnam are the two best travel destinations at the moment for "entertainment by price"

india is a more esoteric destination, for slightly more hardcore travelers in my opinion (still very mainstream but not nearly as popular as SEAsia)

>>219823343
I mean if you can't find anything you are interested in seeing at all you simply are not trying

beaches. cities. jungles. ancient temples. massive mountains and rivers. forests with elephants and tigers, huge deserts with shifting sands and camels and massive castles. old world history and plenty of new developments too. it's a huge country and there is more to see and do than you could realistically do in a lifetime
>>
>>219823404
tell me more
are there actually nice urban areas in india?

>are there actually nice urban areas in india?

hmm. generally no. not "nice" in the same way that zone 1 London is nice.
The cities are the worst part of travel in India by far, with few exceptions - they are hectic, crowded, dirty, unsafe, poorly designed spaces.

You are not going to find massive street networks with pristine sidewalks and high end shops and trendy restaurants. The closest you'll get to that is Connaught Place in New Delhi and several distinct, isolated neighborhoods in Mumbai (which are admittedly very nice) .

Mumbai is actually a fairly cool city but it still has massive slums within the city itself that spill over into every single area that has historic buildings or upscale developments. It's by far the most fun city to explore on foot simply because the rest of india's cities CANNOT be explored on foot at all. there is no pedestrian infrastructure anywhere else.

pic related is connaught place, I'll show you mumbai's nice areas next

the few times I went out to a restaurant with a native indian they took me to the most disgusting places imaginable lmao
one time I met a few people in some hostel in goa, some dumb bitch and a fairly normal guy, we went to some restaurant she recommended. after eating the food I asked where they got the fish from. she said from some fucking vendor off the street where the fish was COVERED IN FLIES

they just have really fucking durable immune systems from eating shit made by retards for their entire lives
food safety in india is a MASSIVE issue and is without a doubt the WORST part of travel in india. The second worst is the urban planning and design that is actively hostile to life.

>>219823568
no most normal indians have like family cooks that prepare meals for them, only retards and poor people regularly eat food from street stalls (aside from chai)

this type of street vendor cutting fish on the ground is super common in india. it's fucking disgusting. I cannot imagine anyone buying or selling the fish think it's healthy or safe to eat this shit.

colaba in mumbai is similar to times square in NYC, it's a central tourist district with a lot of touristy stuff like museums and shops.

it actually is a pretty nice urban area, the libraries and museums and shops are all very beautiful and well maintained. it is, I think, the only place in india like that (delhi is far worse).

its located near the bottom of the peninsula that mumbai sits on. similar in size and development to San Francisco.
>>
>>219823568
>>219823692
Only dalits eat this food. Most any normal people do not
>>
>>219823665
>in goa
How was Goa in general? I know that's kind of rave destination for many westerners and I thought it would be somewhat cleaner.
>no most normal indians have like family cooks that prepare meals for them, only retards and poor people regularly eat food from street stalls (aside from chai)
Well the biggest problem is the tap water apparently so I'm not sure how one avoids that, do they cook with bottled water?

India's entire fish distribution network is turbo fucked anon

the main fish market for the country, that supplies virtually half the fish to every restaurant in the country, is basically just as disgusting as that but in a warehouse 1000x the size and scale. fish sitting on the ground, zero refrigeration. flies and bugs and industrial pollution everywhere.

we cannot shy away from india being a disgusting shithole. we have to fix these problems. I don't fucking know how but admitting the problem is a start

>>219823775
Goa and most other smaller towns I visited are very fun, far cleaner and easier to explore than the cities. They were truly the highlight of the trip for me - going through the cities is mostly an exhausting slog until you can escape to the towns in the outskirts. (not that goa is a town, but you know what I mean. it's not mumbai or delhi)

Goa is kind of like a discount Hawaii. It has world class beaches - actually, the best beaches I've seen in the world. It's a great place to learn to surf.
But unlike Hawaii which is truly pristine everywhere, Goa has overflowing trash cans and traffic issues and other typical india problems.

And YES the rave scene and the general "white tourist" scene is AMAZING, some of the hottest girls i've ever seen in my life were at Goa. Lots of British, French, Russian. There are a lot of russians who basically decided to just settle in goa and they are all hippy new age types, very fun to hang out with them. surprising amount of young russian families too.

>>219823775
>do they cook with bottled water?
No, but every indian household has a water purification machine that they use for cooking and drinking.

the area north of delhi near the himalayan range is super cool and reminds me of Yosemite here in california

it's surprisingly untouched for the most part - so much beautiful nature to explore, massive trees towering above the buildings everywhere

here's a random google street view shot near shimla

I didn't have a chance to do any real mountaineering in india because I couldn't bring any gear with me... maybe I will at some point later on
>>
>>219823977
The verticality in Shimla is insane. Have you also been to Manali? I have only seen Yosemite valley in video games
>>
>>219824217
I haven't. I got kind of sick when I was at rishikesh so I decided to just leave back to the warmer south to rest and recover. That's why I ended up going to goa actually - I didn't really plan on it.

you have any recommendations for me to check out next time I go to india?

I honestly want to go to pakistan. I want to see rajasthan, kerala, the andamans, and the far eastern parts of india too

I plan on doing a lot of travel this year

Agreed until last 2. One guy was bleeding from the dick from fucking one of those nasty cunts and one Romanian broke his fist fighting a “‘mountain jeet”. Some of the wrestlers, kabaddi wrestlers and street labourers are strong . But likely you’ll have 20-39 guys swarm you with sticks stones and machetes cuz you’re a foreigner and they’ll loot you. Cops won’t give a fuck
But otherwise accurate
India is Mexico of the east

If you're gonna visit then I'm gonna suggest sticking to the hill stations and North East India (Maybe Kerala). Big cities are just risky. But if you're still planning on going there
>Stick to touristy areas (Like connaught place)
>Don't go outside after dark
>NEVER eat street food

I will relax in the dirtiest back alley of Bombay.
I will only go outside at night, dressed as a woman.
I will only consume street food and my beverage shall be water taken from the Ganges.
And I WILL complain about it on YouTube if anything goes wrong.
