No women are allowed to serve here. Interestingly I talked to a former Bundeswehr drill sergeant about that. He said that women in the army make things more complicated as they have to be. Technically they should be trained like men, but only a few can really keep up with what the army demands from them physically and psychically, so the training is toned down alot for women. They also are treated way different as men, mostly because of issues of harassment or abuse. Normally if there are problems in the unit, the drill sergeant would talk to soldiers privately, but in case of women there always has to be someone with them in the room or the door has to be open. There were more issues in that regards, but those were the ones that I kept in mind. Of course you can't blame them for all of those things, but it's one of the reason why he quit his job.

Although many people I know, who worked in the Bundeswehr and weren't just conscripts, said that the conditions have gotten progressively worse at the Bundeswehr, so maybe this army is just shitty in general.
