It is kinda ironic that in centuries of war there were only 2 large sieges, both during Almanzor' reign. The siege of Compostela and Barcelona.

The rest of battles were in open fields or castles, most of cities just surrended without offering a significative resistance.

They surrendered because there is no point of fighting, they never left Iberia, they are running in your veins

Because there is nothing really to siege. No geographical choke points like Belgrade or Constantinople or Stalingrad. It's pointless to siege or else you will be outflanked by a bunch of Poolacks

The cities surrendered because all trade and business was in the hands of Jews who are a natural turncoat race without any sense of loyalty to their host countries. Those cities first slipped out of Spanish hands thanks to the Jews and they were reconquered thanks to the Jews.

Sounds like bullshit. Yeah I know about Toledo. But never heard about Reconquista equivalents.
