Maybe YOU can't, but then again you Britshits still haven't mastered having a single faucet.
>>
why would you power a tap with a usb? if any water gets on it itll blow up
retarded mutts
>>
>>219971567
Nothing wrong with having a hot and cold tap
>>
>>219971613
Is the hot tap cold enough to wash your hands? Seems a bit messy otherwise.
>>
>>219971811
No it just burns you, but if you need warm water just fill the basin.
>>
>>219971837
Complicated
>>
>>219971837
why is it that hot? so you can make a cup of tea any time?

The German/EU plug also has a safety version with a third contact.
The 2 pin plugs are only used for small devices with low power requirements.
But the design is older than the British plug so not as advanced but good enough.

It's just as hot as whatever you set the boiler to. The problem is most people have a mixed one in the kitchen so they'll set the boiler for that meaning the dual bathroom one is always scorching hot.
>>
>>219971963
so is it just old faucets that arent mixed or do they still install 2 seperate hot and cold taps?
>>
>>219971613
Nothing good about it, just an inconvenience.
>>
>>219970962
>>219971940
It's also a lot harder to pull out compared to the 2 pin version.
I can't imagine that a plug would need to be any harder to pull out.
>>
>>219971998
It's usually bathrooms that have two faucets, kitchens will have mixed ones. Though most new houses will have mixed ones in both.
>>
>>219970962
3 prong is way better and as safe as your fuckhuge spacehog plugs
>>
>>219972509
British plugs fit into narrow spaces better, also easier to fix yourself unlike every other design.
>>
>>219972474
oh i see. so there was some issue in the past that required you to need 2 taps but now its ok. i've actually seen it a few times before here too, but it's really rare. i think it was more common when people washed their laundry in the sink with a washboard
>>
>>219972532
A good chunk of british housing stock is ancient and things were designed around the idea you'd have a water tank for hot water so didnt want to mix drinking and dirty water together, most people can't be bothered to fuck around with the upstairs plumbing to allow a mixed tap. My house is from 1898 and we even found a newspaper about the titanic sinking under the floor boards.
>>
>>219970962
Yours has a major downside though. It's way too big and unwieldy. A lot worse than the average europlug.
>>
>>219972578
It's wide but slimmer since the cable points down from the plug rather than out, so easier to put in tight spaces.
>>
>>219972530
>easier to fix yourself unlike every other design
I'll give you that
>>
>>219972605
>so easier to put in tight spaces.
Not really. Having plug that size is real problem for extention cables. Makes them larger than they need to be, and them pointing downwards is more of nuance than a convenience, epsecially if you want you plugs to be vertical
>>
>>219972575
i think that's awesome. i built my house (well i had contractors come for the brick walls) only a few years ago. is there any downside to living in these really old buildings?
>>
>>219972677
Other than the walls being a bit less insulated not really. Victorians built shit to last unlike the trash they build these days.
