Yesterday I snapped my shit up benching.
While failing to bench 165 kg I felt a loud snap and my left shoulder started hurting a lot, some nice teenagers where spotting me (one per side) and picked up the bar no problem.
I went to the hospital and luckily I didn't break any connective tissue and I only have inflamation, I was told to not use my left arm in training for 2 weeks and that that should be enough, although I think I that's a pretty optimist prognosis and should probably take it very light for a much longer time.

I was a seasonal rooner before taking up gymcelmaxxing as a hobby thoughbeit but I'm sure I have not told you this before. So as a teen I sometimes went to roon for like 4-5 months then stopped for 2-3 months then started rooning again. I opted for low distance and high speed tho. I also started gymcelmaxxing for some weeks when I was I think 11 or 12, but the gym equipment was rusty shit and I did not know how to use the equipment anyway not how to properly use barbells or dumbbells so ofc I did not enjoy it. In hindsight I now kinda regret not trying a better gym back then and already starting lifting that young. I also played basketball at that age but I also did not like it. Started playing handball at 14 which I was good at but the place where we had training was far enough from my home for me not to want to go train ig.

you can spend so much money on bikes it's insane. In my opinion a decent road bike or gravel bike is maybe 1,5k in new condition, that's what I paid for mine. I'm no expert, but I'm quite sure the extra speed you get with superior components that are much more expensive is miniscule. It's only worth it if you're at a very advanced level which 99% of people aren't. Thinking of, a girl at my job said she wants an aero bike because it looks cooler, but I would bet good money she's not that advanced it's worth it. Made me think of Kazakhstan for a moment, but to be fair the same applies to a lot of dumb male cyclists.

As for unilateral training, the reason I opt for them on leg extensions is because I can full stack the machine if I use both legs. As for leg curls, it's because my bilateral number has been stalling for months so need some kind of new stimulation but it feels like I could already hit 100 kgs for at least 4 reps if I use both legs. My favourite lat pulldown version is unilateral pulldowns on a plate loaded machine cuz if I slap on 165 kgs or so onto that bitch it also pulls me up with it o algo so this way I can cut the number in half and hold onto the machine with my other arm so I don't get sent flying. Obviously db rows are unilateral too cuz you can't really do them bilaterally unless you use the chest support of a chest supported t-bar row or if you have a seal row bench which seems really goated but I have never seen it irl.

Growing up, my contact with English was rather limited. My family is thankfully not made up of snobbish faggots, so I was never spoken to in English by my family, and we had basic cable in the kitchen, so only Maltese and Italian channel. We had no internet either. I'm sure I've watched more Italian TV than Maltese TV, since our TV has always been somewhat lame. That's where my Italian knowledge - and probably my admiration for bigger bosoms - comes from. I have this funny memory regarding the TV set that my parents had in their room. This one had a decoder with a dish, so they could access stations from all-over Europe. I rarely watched anything on it, but I remember this one time where I was watching some cartoons on it, and much to my protests, my mother set the language to English. I waited for her to leave and changed it to the Italian dub. Back then I was probably more familiar with Italian than English. I would also often just browse Italian teletext, though that probably happened when I was a tad older. Ahhh, memories… I can't believe that I am getting nostalgic over teletext. Anyway, now look at me - I'd say that my English is rather fine. A total contradiction of the absurd excuses.
